Iron Man cursed under his breath. He felt like a fool for losing Loki after capturing him. He was confused about the lightning blast and the mysterious being that created it. Iron Man looked to his armored suits computer AI for guidance.
"Sir the electronic disturbance that blinded us in the concert hall is emitting low level radiation that I can scan for you." Iron Man's AI Jarvis said
"Good...because I don't like getting to the finish line and tripping over myself before I cross it." Iron Man replied
Iron Man flew toward the coordinates that Jarvis calculated. Two nations away in the land of Italia Naboo was where the electric being was located. Iron Man was still frustrated that he lost Loki increased his speed. He and Dr. Banner managed to track the Tesseract to Germany. Tony Stark in his mind believed he had saved the day as he usually did in the past three years since he became Iron Man.
He not only captured Loki but he also saved Captain America and the two Jedi Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. He didn't a bunch of weird magic monks and a soldier living in the past. Iron Man believed he was all that was needed to stop Loki. Iron Man increased his speed even faster to almost 2,000 mph to shorten his travel time to 10 minutes. In just a short while Iron Man would catch up to whoever took Loki away from him.
Thor landed in a secluded clearing surrounded by trees. He was certain this location was far from any civilians. Thor didn't want any passerby to get hurt while he interrogated Loki. He tossed Loki near the closest tree. Loki fell to the ground clutching his back while Thor glared at Loki.
"Where is the Tesseract?" Thor demanded
Loki laughed as he got to his feet, "I missed you too brother."
"Do I look to be in a gaming mood?" Thor asked annoyed
"Oh, you should thank me. With the Bifrost gone, how much dark energy did the Allfather have to muster to conjure you here, your precious Earth?" Loki accused
"I thought you dead." Thor replied
"Did you mourn?"
"We all did. Our father..."
"YOUR father! He DID tell you my true parentage, did he not?" Loki asked
"We were raised together, we played together, we fought together. Do you remember none of that?" Thor argued
"I remember a shadow, living in the shade of your greatness. I remember you tossing me into an abyss, I who was and should be king!" Loki spat back
"So you take the world I love as recompense for your imagined slights? No, the Earth is under MY protection, Loki!" Thor said
"And you're doing a marvelous job with that! The humans slaughter each other in droves, while you idly threat. I on the otherhand mean to rule them. And why should I not?" Loki replied with laughter
"You think yourself above them?"
"Well, yes."
"Then you miss the truth of ruling, brother. A throne would suit you ill." Thor criticized
"I've seen worlds you've never known about! I have grown, Odin's Son, in my exile! I have seen the true power of the Tesseract, and when I wield it..." Loki said
"Who showed you this power? Who controls the would-be-king?" Thor questioned
"I AM a king!" Loki shouted
"Not here! You give up the Tesseract! You give up this pointless dream!... You come home brother." Thor demanded
"I don't have it." Loki replied
Thor threatened Loki with his hammer. Loki placed up his hands in front of him as a gesture of peace.
"You need the cube to bring me home, but I've sent it off, I know not where."
"You listen well, brother. I..."
Thor was knocked off into a set of trees by Iron Man. His hammer Miljnor flew back into Thor's hand as he reached out for it. Thor glared at Iron Man as he flew towards Thor landing 10 feet away from him.
"You have no idea what you're dealing with." Thor warned
"Ah... Shakespeare in the park? Doth mother know you weareth her drapes?" Iron Man mocked
"Do not touch me again!"
"Then don't take my stuff."
"This is beyond you, metal man. Loki will face Asgardian justice." Thor declared
"He gives up the Cube, he's all yours. Until then, stay out of the way, tourist." Iron Man replied
Thor hurled his hammer Mjolnir at Iron Man and Iron Man smashed into a dozen trees. Mjolnir flew back into Thor's hand once again. A powerful beam of bright blue light struck Thor in the chest and sent him flying a hundred feet backward. Iron Man flew towards Thor but Thor managed to get quickly to his feet. Captain America threw his shield between Iron Man and Thor, stopping their fight.
"Hey! That's enough!" Captain America called out
"'I've come here to put an end to Loki's schemes! I'm not your enemy legendary soldier." Thor said
"Then prove it! Put the hammer down." Captain America argued
"Um, no! Bad call! He loves his ham-" Iron Man started to explain
Thor knocked Iron Man back with his hammer and Iron Man flew into a pile of bushes.
"You want me to put the hammer down? I'll put the hammer down!"
Captain America ducked and held up is shield as Thor leapt at him. The shield blocked Thor's blow from his hammer Mjolnir. The impact of the hammer on Captain America's vibranium shield created a massive shockwave, knocking Thor off his feet.
"Wow...you heroes made my job extremely easy." A red faced alien said
He was surrounded by hundreds of members of his species who had yellow faces. They aimed their staff weapons at Captain America.
