Our heroes returned from that pointless trip to Halcandra and, for some reason, Kirby and his pals (Meta knight, Dedede and Bandana Dee) were waiting for them
Magolor made the Lor land on its usual spot
Magolor: Hi there, guys!
Kirby: Poyo!
DDD: Where have you guys been?
Taranza: We went to Halcandra
Meta knight: And why?
Magolor: Ummm... Just visiting!
Meta knight didn't look convinced, but at the same time Magolor couldn't tell him they were looking for some artefacts!
Meta knight: Just visiting, huh?
Marx: We know you don't trust Mags a lot, but it was ME the one who asked to go there
Meta knight: I just wanted to make it sure. Anyways, welcome back
Magolor: So... What do you guys want to do?
Susie: Actually, I've got something to show you
Marx: Well, I'm not coming. I'm going to sleep
Susie: Alright. So, you guys are coming?
Taranza and Magolor: Sure!
The 3 then went to Susie's house... More like a lab than a house
Susie: Since you guys started talking about the ancients, I became interested in them. So, I created a little something...
Susie opened a door, revealing a machine that looked like a small spaceship
Magolor: Huh... What is it supposed to be?
Susie: Something that will help us find more about the ancients! It has a radar capable of sense the Artefacts in kilometers! I just need something to test it...
Taranza: Ummm... Could this help?
Taranza pulled out the Master Crown
Both Magolor and Susie were surprised to see it in Taranza's hands
Magolor: B-but how did you... Marx stole it!
Taranza: Oh, it's a long story... Let's not think about that, test the thing
Susie turned on the machine and... It worked! The radar sensed the Master Crown
Susie: Yes! I knew it would have worked. I just need to work a bit to make it able to fly to space
Magolor: I could help with that, you know, I'm quite good with machines
Susie: Just because you live in a machine that doesn't mean you are good with machines...
Magolor: I'm... Still good at it
Taranza: Anyways, you can take the crown back, Magolor
Taranza gave magolor the Master Crown
Magolor didn't say anything, he just stared at the crown for some seconds, in silence...
Susie: Umm... Are you ok, Mags?
Magolor: Huh?! Oh, y-yeah...
Taranza: You looked a bit... Weird
Magolor: I'm fine, maybe I just need to rest...
Taranza: Do you want me to keep the crown?
Magolor: Yes... I don't really feel like I should keep it for now
Taranza: Alright, I'm going home to put the Master Crown away, you two work on the machine
Susie: Alright!
Taranza exited and then went to his house while Magolor and Susie started to work on the spaceship
Then, Susie broke the silence
Susie: So... Is everything okay with the crown?
Magolor: Maybe, maybe not... I'm not very sure
Susie: I know that Kirby defeated the "spirit" inside that crown, but it looks like it has some mind control left
Magolor: Mhm...
Susie: You can't stop thinking about it, huh? It happens to me too... Sometimes, when I build some machines, they remind me of what happened with Haltmann in the past... I still think that Meta knight didn't forgive me for what I've done to him and all that stuff
Magolor: But that was your father's fault, you were just following his orders!
Susie: I could've stopped anytime, but I didn't. Only when my father was defeated I realized that I could do something else
Magolor: I don't even mind your villain past, I did things way worse... I manipulated Kirby and his friends to rebuild the Lor, defeating Landia and then I just backstabbed them because of the Master Crown
Susie: But that was just the Master Crown controlling you, right?
Magolor: Not exactly... The Master Crown controlled me only when I was crowned... All the other things I did were under my control...
Susie: But that's fine! We all did mistakes and... tried to kill Kirby, but what is important is who we are Now, look how much you changed! From the pilot of the Lor to an ally who helped defeat Termina!
Magolor: You're right... I must stop to think at the past! I've done stuff that I don't like, but I can't do anything about it, all I can do is looking forward and do my best!
Susie: Yeah! That's what every ex-villain should do!
