    Chapter 4: Sooner Or Later, The Truth Will Come Out!

    Sheri Holland: And then what happens?
    Clay Jensen: Well, he falls in love with her.
    Sheri Holland: And she falls in love with him?
    Clay Jensen: Yeah.
    Sheri goes kisses Clay as he kisses her back. As they're kissing, Clay closes the door with his foot as the now get on Clay's bed.
    Clay Jensen: Is this... is this okay? 
    Sheri Holland: Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's okay. It's good.
    Clay Jensen: Good, yeah. This is... good.
    Suddenly they stop kissing as something seems to be bothering Clay.
    Sheri Holland: Clay... what are you thinking about?
    Clay Jensen: I'm sorry. Shit. I'm sorry.
    Sheri Holland: What happened? Did I do something?
    Clay Jensen: No, no. God, no. It's... I don't know.
    They both just stop as they just sit up.
    Sheri Holland: Um... Look, it's okay if you don't like me like that.

    Sheri Holland: You were thinking of someone else.
    Clay Jensen: No, Sheri, I wasn't...
    Sheri Holland: You were thinking of Hannah.
    Clay Jensen: I wasn't.
    Sheri Holland: That's okay.
    Clay Jensen: I wasn't... I wasn't thinking of anyone. But... but you. I like you.
    Sheri Holland: Yeah?
    Clay Jensen: Yeah. 
    Sheri Holland: You think I'm a good person?
    Clay Jensen: Of course I do. I always have.
    Sheri Holland: Well, you shouldn't.
    Sheri begins to cry.
    Clay Jensen: What? Why are you crying?
    Sheri Holland: Look, Clay, I... I thought that... that maybe if... if you didn't listen to my tape, then you would still like me. You would see that I'm not that person.
    Clay Jensen: You're on the tapes?
    Sheri Holland: You didn't know?
    Clay Jensen: No, I haven't listened to them all.
    Clay was shocked when Sheri confessed that she's on the tapes and she was surprised that he hasn't listened to all the tapes.
    Sheri Holland: I... I did something... Hannah and I, but... I did it. And it's horrible, and I can't... Look... I can't tell you what it is, and I don't want you to know, 'cause I don't want you to look at me or Hannah that way, and it would kill me if you heard what were on those tapes.
    Clay Jensen: What did you do?
    Sheri Holland: Clay, please. It's over. The damage is done, and... I just wish that... 
    Clay Jensen: You wish I'd give up the tapes. You want me to pass them on, just like Marcus? Just like everyone?
    Sheri Holland: Clay.
