Chapter 15: Family Argument and Feud

Start from the beginning

He's six years older than Sabrina making him next to the title of a count with an age of sixteen.

"Mother,"

Damuel moves closer to the table and grabs the teacup.

"It's because you didn't teach Helbert a lesson that's why the accident happened."

His mother sighs.

"It's okay darling."

Marc'us Cusar Elsteel, their father who was sitting close to their mother suddenly said.

"Sabrina was okay, and she was fine." Damuel added.

"Still, I can't help but to be worried."

His mother looked beside him.

"Who knows another accident will happen soon."

She was staring with a fierce look at Helbert who was standing by his side.

"Mom, you're gonna put a hole in his face."

His mother turned her face to him.

"Damuel, you're his older brother, why are you siding with him?"

"Mother, they are still children!"

Damuel answered with a shrug in his shoulder.

"With that age, accidents happen."

"You don't get it!"

Damuel added his mother's fury.

"Sabrina just got engaged recently!"

His mother shouted in rage.

"His fiancé will obviously blame us!!"

The count was tapping his hands on the table while looking at his wife and son quarreling.

"Your son is right."

He turned his face to his wife.

"I'll explain everything to his fiancé, darling."

With his father's sentence, the whole room became silent.

I was back inside my room again and I sat into my bed facing Grace who was standing and fiddling her hands.

"Grace..."

"......y-yes!"

I stared at her brown eyes.

"W-what I-is it, y-young miss....."

Her voice quivered with nervousness.

"Why do you talk as if there was a hyphen in your words?"

'I don't like the way she talks. She speaks like a robot.'

"I apologize y-young miss, It's because I made a mistake." Grace was trying to talk like a normal human does.

"A mistake?"

I curled my lips at her bitterly.

". . . ."

Grace looks at the ground and she bows her head again.

"You didn't make a mistake Grace."

"Young miss I-

"You made a sin worthy of your life!"

Grace twitched her shoulder and she starts to tremble with terror again.

I crossed my legs and folded my arms.

"You shouldn't have done things to me if you're just going to shake in front of me!"

Grace starts to kneels in front of me.

"What can I do to you young miss?"

Even though she was trembling, she opened her mouth while kneeling and looking at the ground.

"Are you talking to the ground??"

"N-no." She answered then turned her face to me with tears flowing in her cheeks.

"Great!" I rolled both of my eyes looking at her. "Now I look like the villain here."

'But, I am the villainess though.'

Grace was kneeling showing her ugly crying face in front of me.

"W-what can I do so that you will forgive me young miss?"

I stand from my bed and move closer to her. I then touched her delicate rough skin on her arms.

"I wanted to cut your hands."

Grace turned white like a person with no blood.

"Kyaaa!"

After she heard me, she shouted and withdrew her hands.

"...N-not my hands please!"

She begs me for mercy.

"....P-please don't kill me young miss!"

She was pleading like a crazy person begging for her life to be saved.

'She looks like a mad dog.'

She's not scared of me, but my title as a patrician scared her to death.

looking at her kneeling in front of me makes me proud of myself.

'I had the villainess' face after all.'

"Grace..." I opened my mouth. "You need to serve me forever and die for me."

"B-but I'm part of the temple...."

"Then how about a guillotine?"

Her eyes became bigger.

"......I-I will just serve the y-young miss." She answered without a second thought.

'Pffft. She's scared of death!"

I moved back to the bed again and lay down.

"Well then, go ask the arc priest to be my personal dog. I mean servant and ask for some parchment with a sealed contract."

Grace stood up from kneeling.

Her legs were bruised.

"Y-yes."

"Remember if you never come back, I'll give you a guillotine as a surprise!"

Grace then walks towards the door trembling, she bows lightly and she closes it gently.

'I obtained a new pawn.'
