Sana smiled seeing her.

Sana dad:"Sana ..kaha hein thu  baahar aaja..ek khush khabri hai..".

Sana:"Ha baba aari hu..".
She went and to her surprise her dad was standing with mithai dabba in his hands.

Sana:"Baba ye sab..?".
.
Sana dad:"Beta..woh engagement ki date fix kar dhiya hai....pandit ji se abhi milke aaraha hu..".

Sana smiled not knowing how to react.
Sana dad:"Pammi thu bitiya ke liye jho bhi khareedhaari karni hai kar..saari thaiyyariyan ho jaani chahiye..samjhi..".

Sana's mom cupped sana's face and kissed for forehead.
Sana mom:"Bahuth achii kismath hai teri...ladka bahuth hi achaa hai..bade dil wala.."

Sana smiled awkwardly.She was fed up arguing with them..she started to accept her fate...Mithis words are also ringing in her ears.."Tera maa bapu bhi khush rahenge agar teri ghar bas jaaye tho..".
She smiled and closed her eyes.
"Bhagwan patha nahi kya hora hai mere saath..mein apne maaa baapu ka dil dhukana nhi chaahthi..unhe khush rakho.." she prayed in her mind.

It was evening.
Mithi came back to sana with a can of makkhan..
Mithi:"Mausi..meri sanuu ko ye khilana..mei mumma ne specially sanu ke liye bheja hai.."

Mausi:"Arey mithi iski kya zaroorath thi..shiela dhi bhi na..".

Mithi:"Mausi ..aap kuch math bolo.. bas ye lo aur kitchen mein rakh lo bas..." saying she handovered the can.

In sanas room
Sana was lying on bed.No smile on her face..lost in deep thoughts
Mithi:"Sanu...utt na..".

Sana smiled seeing her.
Mithi:"Sanuu patha hai thuje kal mela hai ...sab log aayenge khoob maze karenge..Ghaav ke Mukhiya ne mela rakha hua hai khaas karke kal..".

Sana:"Ab kaisi mela..Mithi..Aur Mukhiya..?".
.

Mithi:"ha ye sab chod..thu kal ready hoja mein aathi hu kal..hum chalenge..mela..chal mein ab chalthi hu..yahi bolne aayi thi..aur ha..woh tera khaas pasandheedha makkan laayi mein tere vaasthe khaa le.ok ..bye ...haa kal mela mein na half saree pehen ..teek?".

Sana:"Arey sunn tho....Mithi..".

Mithi started walking away saying:"Mein kuch nahi sunne waali..bas jo bola woh kar chup chaap..warna thu mera doosri roop dekha nahi abhi.." she almost warned sana..😂

Sana nodded disbeliefly.

Sana mom entered into sanas room:"Beta..thu humse naaraz hai..?" She almost had tears.

Sana noticed it..she felt guilt on herself for her behaviour.

She hugged her and rubbed her mummas back.
Sana:"Mumma mujhe maaf kardho..achanak se ye sab hora hai ki..mujhe bas ye sab digest hone mein wakth lagega..aap chintha math karo..aur baba ko bhi boldho..mein khush hu iss shaadhi se..."

Sana mom smiled listening her words.
Sana mom:"Teek meri putthar....aur ha..teri woh half saree na mein nikalke rakthi hu..suna meine Mithi boli hai na kal ke mele ke baare mein..thu bhi jaa...gaav mein thoda ghoom lo..acha lagega..".

Sana smiled and nodded:"Ji mumma"..

Next morning

Sana mom:"Sana..idhar aa tho" she called her into kitchen...

Sana went :"Kya hua mumma ..."

Sana mom:"Ye chai baba ko de ..aur ha..tere baba..guilt feel kar rahe hai..unhe lagraha hai ki hum thumhe zabardasthi iss shaadhi ke kiye haa karwaya...jab se engagement ki baath ki kal..thu tho bilkul chup hogyi..aur woh guilt feel kar rahe hai..isliye..khaana bhi teek se nahi kaaya..thu zara baath kar na..".

sana eyes went moist listening her.
Sana quickly took cup of tea and went to her dad.
Sana:"Baba.." he lift his head.
He smiled.
But put his head down again.
Sana sat beside him on knees holding his hands..

Sana:"Baba..mein khush hu..iss shaadhi se..mujhe patha hai ki aap kabhi galath nahi karenge mere saath..aur haa ap guilt feel math karo..nahi tho mein bhi khaana nahi kaaungi.."

He immediately took his chai and sipped it...

Sana smiled seeing his reaction.She just said that she will skip meals if he does the same..his reaction was enough to show his love on her.

Sana:"Baba ..mujhe maaf kardho..achanak se sab hora tha..isliye meine aise react kiya ..iam sorry..aur haa..aagese khaana ki taraf no laaparwaahi samjhe..".

Sana dad smiled and caressed her cheeks
Sana dad:"Jaisi thum kaho..meri bachhi"

Sana:"Acha..baba mein chali..mujhe mela jaana hai..mithi aayegi shaam ko.."

Sana dad nodded.

Mithi and sana went to mela..It was a huge one organised by Mukhiya of village none other than Sidharth Ghattamaneni..

Suddenly everyone started giving way in that huge mela to a car.

And there was a car passing through the way given.

Mithi and sana were looking at the car..
Sana:"Arey Mithi..ab koun hai..Mukhiya iss gaav ki..?".

Mithi:"Sanaa..thu nahi jaanthi..ab mukhiyan tho uss kadus nahi raha..uska tho time khatam hogya..ab humare mukhiya hai..Sidharth Ghattamaneni..thu nahi jaanthi kithne hot hai woh....gaav ki saari ladkiyan marthi hai sidharth pe..sorry mukhiya ji pe..".

Sana:"Acha..aisi baath hai..".

Sana was not much interested in all this words.She just hummed and nodded..

Mithi:"Arey sana dekh dekh..woh rahe mukhiyan "saying she showed her finger towards sid who was visible through the car window that was opened".

Her breath hitched seeing him.Her mind was just struck at his eyes.

"Arey ye tho wahi insaan hai jispe meine paani pheki woh bhi poori bucket..haaye..ye tho mukhiyaa hai.."sana held her heart with her hands trying to make it beat normal.

But it was running a marathon race..when he got down from the car and started walking towards her..she placed her hand on her heart trying to find its pace which were running rhythmically with the background music played in dj box as a part of mela..(ab mele mein romantic gaana thodi na aa saktha hai..🤧isliye background music nahi include ki meine)her words struck in her throat...she wanted to say that they should move from there before he comes closer..but nothing is working...For the first time she was observing him ..his features his huge structure his body..his eyes which now had no glasses..

Mithi:"Sanu..mukiya ji hamare taraf kyu aare hai..hayee..ye tho aur bhi hot lagre hai. " mithi was fearing but still continued her blabbering..while sana went numb seeing him coming closer..unable to handle her hearts marathon race ..she gave up and...suddenly sana left Mithis hand and started running away..
