A Stalemate

Chapter 7

Vedh's POV

"Agh!" I groaned when I landed on my bed.

Sa ngayon, nasa loob ako ng kwarto ko.

The door is painted white with a touch of black and it's made of expensive wood. The floor is made of white tiles and there's a small modern chandelier above everything.

There's also a small studying table and a chair with a cushion and an even smalller table beside my bed that holds the lamp.

My bed is a large twin-sized bed with white bed sheets, grey and black pillows, and a white blanket.

Then, above my bed is a brown long wood where I can store additional things.

Mapapansin mo talagang lalaki ang may-ari ng kwarto. Sinadya ba nila 'yon? Nilagay ba nila kami sa mga kwartong suitable sa kasarian namin? Pero...wala naman din naman talagang kulay na para sa babae at lalaki. It doesn't really matter.

In the left side, there's a cabinet made of wood near the studying table and a little further than the small lamp table is a glass sliding door to a small balcony that overlooks the sea.

It's peaceful.

Tumayo ako at nagsimula na ilabas ang mga gamit ko bag na dala ko. Hindi marami ang dala kong gamit dahil nagmamadali akong umalis no'n.

I only have about 10 t-shirts, 5 turtle-necks, 15 pants, 2 jogging pants, 5 undershirts, 3 casual shorts, a short for working out, my phone, my books, my notebooks, a few pens, an art kit, 2 paper pads, reviewers, a white-out, a binder with cattleyas inside, a single ruler, my MacBook, my chargers, a health kit, and my wallet.

Shit.

Hindi sapat ang mga gamit na ito para sa apat na taon ko dito sa Fierdale. Kailangan kong bumili, but I only have 10,000 diamonds. I have to use my diamonds wisely.

Umupo muna ako sa aking kama at kinuha ang binigay sa aming handbook ni Ms. Suarez kanina tungkol sa mga diamonds.

It says there that are diamonds are added up every month. If our diamonds are not enough for us, we can work in the weekends.

That's it. I can work in the weekends. I'll just have to manage my time and apply for a job.

Madali akong umalis sa aking kwarto matapos ko kunin ang wallet, cellphone, at key card ko at isarado ang pintuan ko through the key card.

Naglakad ako tungo sa pinakamalapit na computer laboratory sa lugar ko at doon ako nagsimula gawin ang resume ko.

Delphine's POV

Naglalakad ako sa labas ng computer laboratory nang mapansin ko sa loob si Vedh.

Vedh is tall. His height is probably at 5'11 or 6'0. His skin color is fair white and his hair is colored jet-black. His eyes are deep and mysterious coated with the color of the trees and grass.

He's sitting inside, in front of a computer. He's wearing what he was wearing from class, a white branded t-shirt and jeans and he seems to be typing something.

Narinig ko kanina na sinabi niyang sa designing at pagtugtog siya ng gitara at violin magaling. Pero base sa mga obserbasyon ko sa kanya, matalino at mapag-obserba si Vedh. Tahimik siya at hindi rin nagpapakita ng emosyon.

Vedh is as mysterious as the vast Earth. He's probably as deep as the oceans and complex as nature itself. But, how would I know how deep and complex he is? I'm just assuming.
