This time he didn't understand how the touch of one human being can made all his most disheartening worries dissipate in second. With she embracing him tightly in her firm hold the atmosphere is far from tense and instead of all the muddled questions his mind has throwing at him. All she can heard was him sobbing and she could feel the wetness of his tear on her side neck.

"I know what you're thinking about?" She said quietly while stroking his hair in one hand and other one was patting his back.

Tensing slightly he replied in an equally small voice "you do?"

"Yes, I know" she whispered in his ear.
He pulled out the hug but not completely.
When he gazed into her eyes that he could see the watery eyes of her.

"Did she crying because me" he thought of himself.

Nancy POV

He stayed quiet for a moment looking into my eyes "why haven't you left yet? " He whispered.

      "Why would I leave? "

"Because I'm a burden Nancy. People see me and look away because they can't stand looking at someone so unlucky and broken."

"No, no stop that" I whispered caressing his cheek which was  covered with the mask.

"So what if people find you broken and unlucky? Does it matter what they think? You just need to focus on what is right in front of you, you're not broken Shawn. You bloomed even when things got wrong."

I placed my forehead against his and I can feel that our lips are inches away from each other. Our eyes connected for what seemed like forever.

"Shawn" I whispered both of my hands held the side of his head blocking everything else out in the world except for Me.

"C-can I touch your scar" I said quietly coz I'm afraid that he might feel bad. But I really wanted to touch it, feel it, why I also don't know.

He slightly nodded as I started to remove the mask from his face to his chin.

Then I touched it, it's not that big also it's feel nothing but like normal skin. Then why people hate him. I continued to caressing his cheek as I didn't know how I had that courage but I kissed his cheek. When I realized it I was also in shock and same goes for him.

                ( It's only cheek kiss)

That time I realized I like him, yes I like him. I need to tell him right coz I'm not that kind of girl who is all shy shy and waits for the boy to confess her.( It's actually your author's character by the way)

"I'm not going anywhere Shawn and I'll never ever leave you. Keep that in your mind okay." I smiled.

Then we parted as he hugged me.
He lays his head across my chest.
"I didn't know that" he said while his eyes became watery.

"Well, I'm here now, aren't I ?" I stroked his hair.

He smiled as I continued to stroke his wavy ebony hair.

"Shawn"

"Hmm"

"Do you like me ? Coz I like you."

He suddenly broke the hug and looked into my eyes in shock.

I understood why he was so shocked. So I calmly asked him with a smile "Shawn, can you be my boyfriend ? "

"You really wa-"

I cut off him by saying "yes I really want to. Can you be ?

Then he smiled and suddenly hugged me and said "yes, I'm glad to be your boyfriend."

I was so so happy that time, I can't control myself but hugged him tighter.

"So that's why you kissed me earlier." He said in a teasing tone.

I blushed and snuggled more into his chest.
