"Can we please just talk?" I pleaded with James as we walked out of Maths a few weeks later. He had barely spoken to me since his relationship with Riley went public
They've quite literally walking around this school like they are the newest hottest couple on this earth
"Hey" Riley smiled coming out of her lesson joining us 
I instantly groan as I watched James press his lips against hers while wrapping his arm around her shoulder continuing to walk towards Dance 

"Why are you following us Beth?" James asked making me roll my eyes
"Do you not remember what today is?" I asked making them both look at me confused
"No?" Riley question

"Today is the day Group 2 try their luck at out shining one of you guys. To get a spot in group 1" I explained making the pair of them share a glance

Now the thing I want to do is to go straight after Riley but I know she is like the shiny new toy, there is no way I'll be able to knock her out of the running, however I'm pretty sure I can find the weakest link of their group 
I'll be back before no time

Everyone was sitting on the side lines of the main studio, the tension in the air was evident. The room had been positioned so that Group 1 were on one side and Group 2 on the other
"Right, shall we get this started?" Jessica clapped as she walked in

She took one look at everyone before sighing and nodding looking down at her clipboard
"Right so the way this is going to work, only a few Group 2 members are auditioning again. And they have challenged a few Group 1 members. We've mixed you all up into two groups and at the end I'll decide who won" She explained making us all nod 

I knew that I had a shot with who I chose to go against, but I don't think anyone will see it coming 

"The two groups are, Eldon, Beth, Jake, Daniel and Sarah. And then we have James, Cass, Tiffany, Riley and Thalia" she said making everyone exchange a glance, before Riley's eyes landed on mine

"Let's get group one first" Jess said making my group walk forward to the floor
"you couldn't just leave Riley alone could you" Eldon said making me roll my eyes

"Not everything I do is about that girl" I said earning a scoff from his as the music started 

"And Group 2" Jess called making us all exchange places, I watched as James whispered something to Riley making her smile as they walked out on to floor 
"You've got this Riles!" Michelle cheered making me roll my eyes again

Everyone treats this girl like she is a freaking princess. Like she can't do anything wrong and honestly, I'm sick of it..

Everyone started clapping like they had done after each group while said group walked back to the sidelines, James threw Riley a water bottle before she was engulfed in an array of hugs. The only person not bothering to congratulate her was Hunter 

Someone is clearly still annoyed at her new relationship status 

"Alright, so in an interesting turn of events. We have one change" Jess said making everyone look at her, most of which were concerned some were intrigued 
"Cass, I'm sorry but you will be moving down to group 2" Jessica said making me smirk

"Who's replacing her?" Michelle asked making me step forward knowing full well that I was the one who put Cass' name down

"Beth" Jessica finished before making everyone look at me with a look that I wish I could remember forever
