James

"I don't like it" I heard Beth said grabbing my attention
"don't like what?" I asked making her nod over to the group of newbies that were now leaving the common area
"Get used to it Beth, I'm pretty sure they are here to stay" West said
"and the little one means business" Giselle said making us all furrow our brows at her

I mean the little one is who caught my attention too but something tells me my reasoning is a complete flip of Giselle's

"Do you all not see the resemblance?" She asked making us all look over at the small brunette as she left laughing with her friends
"no?" West asked
"Remember Emily Morris?" She asked making us all widen our eyes slightly

"Only our biggest competition to this date" West muttered
"Yeah, well that's her baby sister and if dance runs in the family. It's probably not a good idea getting on the wrong side of her" Giselle concluded before Beth rolled her eyes

"Are you suggesting we just let her take over this place? The girl needs to learn where she stands" Beth smugly said leaning into my slightly earning a roll of eyes from both West and I

"Are you going to put her in her place? Because I am certainly not getting involved" Giselle said crossing her arms

Giselle and Beth have this hot and cold friendship. By that I mean one minute they can be the best of friends telling each other everything and by the next they are using said secrets against each other
Out of everyone I've met through this school, these two certainly are the bitchiest

"Yeah I will" Beth said copying Giselle's motions
"Well good luck with that" Giselle said grabbing her things walking away

"Beth man, can you like not be so dramatic all the time" West said chasing after Giselle, whether he wants to admit it or not. That girl has him hooked whether they want to admit it or not

"you don't think I'm being dramatic do you?" Beth asked using her pouting voice, I turned to her raising my brow
"Yeah Beth I do. They are all new here, cut them some slack" I warned her this time earning a glare
"You're only saying that because you want her to be your shiny new toy James" Beth smirked

"Is that right?" I asked making her nod confidently
"Whatever Beth" I said getting up and following the same path my friends previously had

--

"Tell me why we are still friends with the girl?" West asked as soon as I got to my dorm room, I turned to look at him without even opening the door just yet, I shrugged at West
I honestly didn't have a clue
"Is it because you know, sometimes you can't get the attention you crave" He said making me burst out laughing

"I would rather not have that then have that with Beth man, been there done that, debating a restraining order" I said making him roll his eyes
"How's Gee?" I asked making West nod
"She's alright, nothing a little talk can't fix" He said making me smirk

"A talk? or a 'talk '?" I asked making him shake his head at me
"I'm going to politely ignore that question" West said attempting to walk away

I chuckled to myself before finally being able to open the door, sure enough that new roommate of mine was laid on his bed scrolling through his phone
I guess, this would be a better time then ever to introduce myself

"Look man, it's going to be a long year if we ignore each other" The blonde spoke up before I even had the chance to
"Beat me to the punch" I muttered sitting on my best just across from him

"I'm Eldon" He said holding out his hand
"I'm James" I answered shaking his hand before he nodded sitting back on his bed

"Is that it?" I laughed making him glance at me before shrugging
"What else did you want?" He asked
"I don't know, a little back story? That friend group of yours is already making moves here" I warned him making him look at me confused
"What do you mean?" he asked locking his phone

"I mean, we all know about Emily" I said making him roll his eyes

"don't go getting any idea's Riley is nothing like her sister at all" he said with a dark tone in his voice

But I won't lie... It was sort of intriguing
