#2 First Encounter

Time skip to when the speech is ✅

Third Person POV

As the speech was done, the guards started rounding up everyone in carts to actually go to the training camps. As Killer was going to his cart, Prince Nightmare himself came up to Killer and stopped him. When Killer turned around, he was shocked to see the Prince standing there. Almost immediately, Killer started bowing.

"Your Majesty, what do you need?"

Killer said as formally as he could. Nightmare then tried to put on a smile and said, "I just wanted to ask you what is your name and which cart you are in."

"Uh, well my name is Killer Target and my cart is number (insert random numbers here), your majesty,"

"Well thank you, I was just curious because it seemed like you hesitated."

Killer didn't know what to do or say, and Nightmare picked it up straight away. Night said a goodbye and thank you, then left.

Killer was kind of confused, but still went up and in his cart.

Right as The carts started moving, Killer immediately noticed two male skeletons, most likely as old as Killer, but one was bleeding from their head. Killer asked "Are you okay!?" Almost immediately and the other replied yes. As Killer talked with the other two, he learned that their names were Dust, the one with the hood and purple eye, and the bleeding one was called Horror with a broken skull from a very touchy subject. Over the ride, Killer formed a very good relationship with Horror and Dust, and that would probably lead to a very good friendship. Killer even joked that they can call themselves the "Murder Time Trio" because they technically had the same past.

They kept on talking until the cart halted to a stop and they were told to get off. Dust and Horror parted off to another tent but they would see each other a lot of times so they didn't need to worry about each other.

Killer POV

As I set foot in my new tent, I immediately saw a ball being hurled to my face. Thanks to my very good instincts, I caught the ball before it hit my face. When I caught the ball it, I saw a black and white skeleton with a red scar just below his eye, a one wearing purple and holding a bat, one that had a huge red knife, and one that had a skull with a bone pierced through it. All four of them were all in shock. The almost monochrome skeleton first spoke up. "Dude! I'm so sorry but HOW did you do that?!" I simply replied with a practice and after they were shocked for a few more seconds, they started introducing themselves. The black and white skeleton was called Cross, the one is a bat is Scoundrel, the one with a red knife is Homicide, and the one with the skull is Insanity. They talked for a while, and later went to sleep, Not ready for the day ahead.

Time skip to the morning

Third Person POV

When Killer woke up, he saw the other sound asleep. "Looks like I'm the first one up" he thought. Killer then stood up and got into his normal clothes.

When he went out of his tent, he saw Dusty and Horror. He talked with them for a while. While they were talking, a guard came up to Dust and Horror and told them something. They seemed very happy for the news. When the guard left, Killer was curious so he asked what the guard told them. They said that the guard told them they were moving to another tent. Killer asked which one it was, and they told Killer, Killer's exact same tent number. Killer told them, and they were all very happy.

Just then, the so called commander started rounding up people and called them one by one to fight them and test their strength. The strongest would be sent to Prince Nightmare himself.

Time skip until it's Killer's turn

When Dust got called up, he fought to his best but still lost. Horror did too, mostly using his physical strength, and still lost, Cross summoned a big white knife, a little bit smaller that Homicide's one, but still lost to the commander. All the others, still the same fate. When Killer's name was called, well, let's just a detailed fight.

When Killer's name was called, he was tense. When he walked to to middle, he remembered that being scared won't help. He has to remember that you should not focus on the past or present, but just reality. After he thought that, he was much calmer and confident than before. When the whistle was blown, the commander charged first. Killer was well aware that he would to that, judging by the commanders looks and name. The commanders name was Red, or Fell. He seemed like a hothead anyway. "How did he even become commander?" Killer thought. Anyways, Dell was still charging at him and Killer easily dodged his attack. Fell tried again, but with sharp boned, but Killer simply dodged them all without any weapons. Killer also seemed too confident, so that made Fell even more angry. Later, it just turned into this. Fell attacking, while Killer dodged easily. It was also very clear that Killer was showing a lot of mercy. Soon, Fell was very tired, but Killer still had his full energy. Soon enough, Fell surrendered. Everyone was shocked.

Fact: 990 words in this second chapter! Killer is a VERY strong skeleton, and could even defeat Original Error. I'm just showing extra attention to Killer because he's my favorite and technically nobody pays attention to him.
