Chapter 6 - Count your blessings.I'm one of them .

We are just friends right?Then why would she need to text me to tell me when she is going to bed and why did I tell her I can’t wait to see her .I suppose friends miss each other .Yes that’s what it is .

Looking at my phone I see I have two text messages .

So I was thinking maybe we could do something tomorrow?

 

Staring blankly at my phone a sudden guilt washes over me .Am I doing something wrong going to a concert with Sam ?But she introduced us so we could hang out and get to know each other .She is probably asking me out of shame or maybe even pity .She isn’t the one I am suppose to end up with because even if we weren’t going to date you don’t just go sleep with somebody else after making another girl feel like you had feelings for her .Which was clearly a wrong idea to have .

Zoey Davids is not the girl I am suppose to be with .

I click send wandering what she is thinking now .Surprised yes .

But she was into me or so I thought .

I should call Sam ..

Beep Beep

“Hellllo?”I hear her voice sounding out of breath

“Hey Sammy its me Zoe .”I say trying to hide my hurt

“Oh hey Zoe what you up to?”She says sounding cheerful

Of course she would be cheerful .She is the one going on a date with Lasey .

“Nothing much just about to make some food .So I heard you are coming here this weekend?”I ask sounding at casual as I can

“Yeah Yeah I asked Lasey to go to a concert with me .Nothing serious though .Friends you know .”She says honestly

“That’s great …”I say trying to find something else to say but nothing .

I am the idiot that introduced the two nicest people to each other .Not to mention all that emotional stuff they probably talk about .All about feelings .

“Zoe you still there?”She asks

“Yeah sorry about that .”

“You okay?”She asks sounding concerned

“Yeah just fine I should probably go .”

“Zoe did you just call me to find out if I was going on a date with Lasey?”

Shit if I tell her that that is the reason she will tell Lasey and Lasey would think I was jealous .Which I am I guess or it wouldn’t have bothered me
