Rinko looked at him, "You managed to change that, and I daresay you did it effortlessly."

Ryuga quickly spoke, "I wouldn't say effortlessly."

The priestess raised an eyebrow, "No? Be honest with me, did you even try?"

The hero sighed, "Fine... It was easy, I used one of the strongest attacks in my arsenal, and the darkness was just gone."

The queen nodded, "I see."

A comfortable silence befell upon them, until Rinko spoke again, "You are an anomaly. In the short time I've talked to you, I can tell, you are a very normal person."

Ryuga blinked, "Really?"

The queen smiled, "Yes, to put simply, you are average. You have no talents."

The hero grimaced, "Ouch."

Rinko laughed, "No, I didn't mean it that way. You have your specialties, but as a person, they aren't exactly out of ordinary."

She looked at him, "That power, its not something you were born with."

Ryuga nodded, "Yeah, of course not."

Rinko nodded, "And that is why I say you are normal. You have extraordinary power, but you are humble. Not to mention, my sister has had nothing but praises for you."

Ryuga blinked, "Oh."

Rinko smiled, "If you're up to it, have a sparring match with Kiryuu tomorrow. I'm sure it'll help make the citizens accept you."

The hero blinked, before he realized where she was going, "Uhmm, maybe not, I'm not ready for that."

The queen chuckled, "If you say so."

Rinko turned away, "Jokes aside, I wasn't joking before. Yogoe now owes you a huge debt, and I am happy to call you a friend of our country."

She gave him a glance, "Should you need any assistance, we will not hesitate to rush to your aid."

Ryuga blinked, "Oh... Thanks, I guess?"

The queen chuckled, "You're welcome."

She walked back towards the shrine, "Now, I shall head back to sleep. Don't stay up too late."

Ryuga snorted at that last bit, before he decided he'd head to sleep as well.

The next day, Ryuga and Koyomi stood at the edge of the neutral area of the academy.

Alice and Megumi were both waiting for them, a not-so-pleased expression on their faces, moreso Alice than Megumi.

The blonde princess folded her arms, "So, what's this with you two heading off to Yogoe without saying anything?"

Ryuga blinked, "Eh? I thought-"

Koyomi cut him off with a big smile, "Oh we had soooo much fun! It's sad that you two were so busy."

The two blinked, before Alice smiled forcefully, "I see, so that's how it is."

Megumi sighed, before she noticed something, "Koyomi, your eyes..."

The princess of Yogoe beamed, her eyes now a beautiful amber, "Yep, thanks to Ryuga."

The two princesses blinked, before they looked at him, and Alice almost lost her composure, "Wait, what?"

Ryuga nodded, "Yeah, I managed to purge it, I guess."

Megumi blinked, before she giggled, "What the hell... Is there nothing you can't do?"
