The kids couldn't take it anymore they wanted to help so they decided to trick Gundham into letting them but...

"I already gave my decree you two shall not take part in the battle!" Gundham bellowed

"Why not?! Other kids are fighting to dad!" The child whined

"If other offsprings engaged in dangers activities such us leaping a building would you?" Gundham felt smug there was no way these kids were going to-

Izuru took out a line graph, pencil and a calculator "depends on what speed we fall, the height of our bodies too not forget air resistance"

Gundham groaned "You two shall not go!"

"Why?!" Keebo yelled

"Because your too precious to lose" Gundham confessed "I vowed to keep you safe as your father and uncle"

"Well, I vowed as your son to keep you and dad safe as your son" Keebo started to cry thinking about his dad in danger "how can you call me precious to lose when dad is out there! You taught me to fight for those mortals I care about so father!"

He stood on top of a table and gripped his father's shirt "I'm going to fight for my family!"

Gundham was stunned and proud of his Prince "how can I an overlord stand in your way, please get your things we shall leave at dawn-.."

"No need for dat" Izuru threw car keys at his uncle "while Keebo was distracting you I put all our stuff in your car now let's go"

Gundham was about to complain but knew this wasn't the time "If you two die I shall go to the depths of the underworld and kill you again!"

Maki was close, so very close all she needed to do was get to the top of the signal tower where Junko was and grabbed the remote.

"Almost there" she grunted pulling herself off the claws of a monobot "I could use some help though"

"Did someone call for assessment from a god?!" Gundham yelled as his van drove through several bots surrounding Maki

The two kids removed the seat belts (safety first obvi) and jumped out with excited grins on. Maki smiled at the sight.

"Mum you look sooo cool!" Izuru hugged his mother tight "we saw everything on uncle Gundham's iPad!"

"Yeah, you were...the bestest bestest best like a superhero!" Keebo added hugging her too

"What little old me stop it" She winced but returned the hug "now can you please explain to me why you two are here?"

Looking up at Gundham who whistled innocently looking elsewhere but her.

Maki turned to the boys "Well?"

"We wanted to help!" Keebo jumped up and down whining "all the other kids are here too!"

"Yeah, and it's not like we can ask our parents to sign a permission slip when they're too busy fighting for their lives now can we?" Izuru clearly smug with that answer high fived himself
