" Are you not them?" Yuki asked, turning her head towards him and lowering her arms. She didn't want to move any more and risk her safety.
"Not who?" Sypher replied with his own question. His eyebrows scrunched together slightly as he wondered who she was referring to.
"Are you not the men who captured us? Or are you the man that shot me?" Pain shot up her leg just thinking about it. Even though the cybernetics were a part of her, she was still in pain. Yuki also knew the trouble she was getting herself into after realizing how she worded her reply.
"I came with a landing party just a few hours ago. But I'm not the man that shot you. He's my captain. He may not be that right in the head, but he is a good captain." Sypher pursed his lips momentarily as he took a few cautious steps forward. He didn't want to frighten her away; had no intention to chase any more. "I wonder though... why he shot you. What were you and those you were with running from?"
