" how is mom?" nanginginig na tanong ko sa pinsan ko pagkarating ko sa hospital.

She didn't answer, instead she just cry that make me even more nervous, worried, and  afraid. Leanne considered mom as her second mom. Actually, we're second cousin. I don't have first cousins since mom and dad are both only child.

"I don't know couz, let's just wait for the doctor's info" she told me.

"How about dad?" napaluhod na ako sa sobrang nginig ng tuhod ko.

Inalalayan naman ako ni Leanne na umupo sa upuan na nasa labas ng operation room.

"He's fine don't worry" she said. She sat beside me and caressed my back while I'm crying.

"I don't know what to do anymore if something bad happen to mom and dad. Where's kuya?" I ask her while sobbing.

"He's taking care of the company and also investigating about your parents accident. He will comeback later" sagot nya at sinabi nya ring si ate Eloisa ang nagbabantay kay daddy. Minsan naman ay  yung mommy ni Leanne ang nagbabantay.

Mas lalo akong kinakabahan dahil dalawang oras na rin na nasa loob ng operation room si mommy. Lumabas na din muna si Leanne para bumili ng tubig.

"kuya" napayakap agad ako kay kuya na kararating lang at tinatanong kung kumusta na si mommy.

"Shhh baby, mom will be alright" said kuya and kiss my forehead. "Ipapahatid kita kay Jake sa bahay o sa condo mo para makapag pahinga ka" sabi ni kuya at umiling lang ako.

"No, I can't sleep kuya if I know that mom is still not okay" umiiyak kong sabi.

Hinayaan na lang ako ni kuya dahil alam nyang hindi nya rin ako mapipilit.

"Drink water first" inabot naman sa akin ni Leanne ang isang bottled water na agad ko namang kinuha.

Nang lumabas na ang doctor ay lumapit agad kami sa kanya at tinanong ang kalagayan ni mommy.

"She'll be transferred in her room later" sabi ng doctor pagkatapos nyang sabihin kung ano ang kalagayan ni mommy.

The doctor said that mom has a blood cancer stage 3. Why didn't mom told us about this?

Kaya ba palagi nya kaming pina pauwi tuwing weekend noon para makasama nya kami dahil baka anumang oras ay mawawala sya sa mundo.

I believe that she can survive it because she's a strong woman.

I ask Jake who came earlier to visit my dad and mom to take me to my condo so that I can have a rest. I'm so tired this day.

It's already evening so there's a heavy traffic in the EDSA. "How are you?" he calmly ask me.

"I'm fine" I said even though I'm not. How can I be fine? I have been stressed out lately especially now.

"How about you and Xander?" tanong nya na para bang nag-aalalangan pa sya.

"Let's not talk about me and him" I told him that make him keep quiet. I don't want to think about him for now.

The next day, I decided to go to Bryce's condo to talk to him. I want to hear it from him about this picture. I heard so many rumors, but I want him to clear this to me.

I was knocking on the  door so many times, but no one open it so I just use his condo's duplicate key he gave me.

There's no one inside when I went in so he's probably sleeping. I went to his room, but he's not there.
