Johnny wakes up in the morning, Torrence lying beside him. He scans her over. Noticing her bruised nose, and the bruise under her eye had darkened from being hit again. Her split lip that he hadn't seen yesterday. He admires the way her hair falls in her face and fans out around her. After a moment of him staring, she stirs, her eyes fluttering open. "Good morning." Her sleepy voice says as she pushes her hair out of her face. "Good morning, princess." He kisses her forehead and she closes her eyes again, curling back into his side. "Still tired?" He asks. "I hurt. Hawk did a number on me."

"I can tell. You're lucky your nose isn't broken again." He says, rewrapping his arms around her. "It was worth it. I got the Medal of Honor back and I put Hawk in his place." She states. He laughs, nodding. "You did put him in his place. And you won Coyote Creek." "I shouldn't have 'finished off' Hawk." She says. He nods again, looking down at her to find her already looking at him. "You were only doing what you thought was right. And you made me get rid of Kreese. So it's a win-win." "True." She lies her head on his shoulder, making patterns on his chest with her finger. "I should call my mom."

He grabs her phone off the night table, handing it to her. She calls her mom, lying her head back down. "Hey, momma, I'm sorry I didn't come back home last night. I decided to stay at Johnny's." She says. "It's no problem, be home tonight." Eliza says. "Of course." "Do you have training today?" Torrence nods despite knowing her mom can't see her. "Yep." "All right. Be careful." They say their goodbyes as Torrence sits up. "What are we doing at training today?" She asks. "Oh, you think just cause you're dating the sensei it means you get to know first?" He teases her, laughing.

"Dating? Last I checked, you still haven't asked." She teases in return. He sits up as well, pulling her into his lap. "Torrence Bailey Miller, will you be my girlfriend?" She grins, kissing him. "Absolutely." He smiles, kissing her forehead. "Now the only thing we're waiting for is your birthday." He says. "Which I can't wait for, by the way. Because eighteen is huge." "It is. Are you having a party?" He asks. "I don't know. Nobody knows when my birthday is except you, Hawk, Demetri, and my mom. I might just spend it with you and mom." She says, leaning against him. "Makes sense."

"And you don't have to get me anything. Cause all I need is you there." She says, kissing him softly. When they pull back, he looks at the clock. "We gotta get going." He says. She moves off his lap, allowing him to stand. "You too, princess. You gotta come to training." "Johnny, babe, I'd love to, but I'm tired." She says, continuing to lie on the bed. He grabs her ankles, yanking her toward him. She yelps, smacking his shoulder when she sits up. "You're the worst." She huffs, crossing her arms over her chest childishly. "You love me." He teases. She almost states that yes, she does.

"Johnny, I didn't bring clothes." "Wear your jeans again, I've got shirts." He tells her, pulling off his shirt so he can change. Her eyes widen and she stares at him. He smirks when he looks at her. "Like what you see?" He taunts. "Shut up." She goes red, looking down at her hands. He steps toward her where she sits on the bed and lifts her chin. "You look cute when you're red." He smirks when she goes red again. "You're an ass, Johnny." "You love me." He jokes. "Keep telling yourself that." She teases. He laughs. "I'm the ass?" "Absolutely." She pulls him down to her height, kissing him.

He pulls away after a moment. "Grab a shirt, get changed, we gotta go. We can't be late." He says, kissing her forehead. She sighs, nodding. She stands, waiting for him to get his shirt on before motioning him out. He grabs a new pair of jeans before going to the bathroom to change them. She grabs her jeans off the floor, pulling them on before grabbing a shirt out of his closet. It's a pretty big Lynyrd Skynyrd shirt. She tucks the front of it into her jeans before grabbing one of his flannels. "You look good in my clothes." He tells her with a smirk when she walks out. "Shut up." She laughs.
