she walked out her door, locking it for safety and making sure she had a few kunai kakashi had left for her to protect herself on the street.

she sighed as she walked away from her house, making her way to the store where she had to grocery shop. she held conversation with the nice cashier before thanking them and heading towards the flower booth across the street.

she got a few red roses before thanking the lady who worked the flower stand and moving on towards the graveyard. she sighed, reading the name on the tombstone before sighing and putting down a flower.

she prayed, while she sat on her knees.

"miss you, rin." she sighed, moving onto the next grave. this one had goggles, to which she frowned deeply at. she repeated her process, praying on her knees before sighing and saying the same message.

she repeated her process one more time for her mothers grave; staying a tad bit longer then the other two. when she went to grab her bags, nothing was there- causing her to momentarily panic before she noticed kakashi.

"i'll take these home, you're late to the library y'know." he sighed, not giving the girl anytime to rebuttal before disappearing.

"shit!" she yelled, realizing she was late before running towards the way of the library.

y/n sighed loudly, walking into her home before locking the door behind her. kakashi looked back at the female who looked like she was about to fall over.

"long day?" he mumbled, catching her as soon as she fell over. she mumbled something inaudible before groaning. kakashi chuckled, picking her up and taking her to her room to sleep.

of course, when she woke up kakashi wasn't there. she sighed, getting up to start her daily routine. read the note, eat the food, wash her dish, get ready.

she didn't have much to do today, just her library work. to which she was visited by none other than, kakashi hatake.

"y/n!" he smiled, walking up to the girl who was re-shelving the fiction section. she sighed, smiling at the male who quickly walked up to her to put the book she was struggling to to put up in its desired place higher on the shelf.

"thank you." she sighed, re-shelving the lower shelves.

"sorry i left so early this morning, i had a mission." kakashi sighed, grabbing a few books to help her out. she took notice, biting the inside of her cheek before shaking her head softly.

"it's fine, i've gotten used to you leaving before sunrise." she mumbled, jumping slightly to put one of the shelves in its spot. kakashi stopped all movement. had he really never stayed until sunrise?

"hm?" he hummed, going back to shelving with her- no other commentary to be said.

that night, per usual kakashi snuck in to keep the girl company.

"how was your day?" he asked, laying beside the girl who's hair was sprawled everywhere on her pillow.

"it was fine, not as eventful like usual. how was yours?" she asked, playing with the silver haired males fluffy hair.

"ah, my day went well. a mission early in the morning, then training with my team... then i got to see you." he smiled softly. she chuckled at his attitude, sighing and turning over to turn off her light.

"i'm getting tired 'kashi. goodnight." she mumbled, drifting away into the dream world.

"goodnight, i love you." kakashi mumbled, kissing her head before turning off his side table lamp as well.

when y/n woke up, she patted kakashi's side- sighing when she yet again didn't feel him there. she rolled her eyes in annoyance, getting up with a stretch and heading downstairs.

"goodmorning." she heard, looking up to see kakashi making breakfast for the both of them. she smiled softly, walking to sit in front of him at her kitchen island.

"morning." she yawned, "what're you still doing here? no mission? no where to go?" she mumbled, looking at the array of food set out.

"what? cant cook breakfast for the girl i love?" he asked, sliding her a plate before starting to make his own.

she thought about it. girl he loved. that was a new one. she chuckled, shaking her head softly- just grateful he had actually stayed with her until sunrise.

"what? not gonna say it back? that hurts my feelings, you know." he teased the flustered girl who quietly ate her fruits.

"i love you too 'kashi." she sighed, chuckling at the male who's smile seemed to grow larger.

"mm, how about... i stay until sunrise more and whenever i do have to leave earlier i'll tell you in advance. yes?" he proposed while she nodded at the idea.

"yes."
