right now, shoyo was on his way to meet an old...friend. that 'friend' had sent him a letter the other day that he had managed to skip over. he had dropped asuka off at his parent's house because he did not have a reason to bring the little child to this meeting with an old friend.

that friend was no other than taichi kawanishi.

hinata should not even call him an old friend. a friend in this matter.

he was the gingers ex-boyfriend. his first boyfriend to be exact.

shoyo was never really experienced in the industry of love. the reason he had gone on all of the dates he had been (if he can call them dates) was all because of yachi and kiyoko. they had suggested it because shoyo was totally heart broken over taichi. he ripped his heart in two. he made him crazy about his feelings. he shot out his heart multiple times. he ripped his soul out. the list could go on for what shoyo felt he did, but in simple words, he broke his heart and he is an asshole.

"whatever man, dare." an orange-brown haired boy said.

"okay, start going out with that orange haired kid"

"oh c'mon man... i cant do that" taichi said

"a dare is a dare, man."

"whatever."

"hey, orange cutie."

yep. it was all a dare. it was tragic to both of the boys because in all honesty, taichi did develop feelings for shoyo in the long run.

shoyo had only found out when they were going on their 6th month of being together. he had overheard one of taichi's friends talking about the stupid dare with him. shoyo could not hold in his tears and began to sob on the spot. taichi overheard his sobbing, of course. shoyo had had it and blew up on taichi, breaking up with him and leaving. of course, taichis friend honestly had no idea they had been dating for so long so he felt like shit. but taichi felt more shitty than him and shoyo felt more shitty than them both combined x10.

it would only make sense to be heartbroken, right?

it was his first relationship, and in high school, you had at least have to be in one relationship before, but shoyo hadn't so it was a massive deal. especially for it to have lasted as long as it did. it was heart wrenching.

but pushing all of that aside for now, shoyo had arrived at the café taichi wanted them to meet. the time was 9:02 A.M. and taichi said to meet at 9:00 so he was pretty much on time.

he walked in and was almost immediately greeted with taichi.

he was seated at one of the tables that was closest to the door.

taichi had noticed him the second he walked in and just stared

so, shoyo sat down at the chair across from taichi.

"hey.." shoyo said trying to start a conversation

"hey..how have you been, shoyo.."
