shoyo had arrived in japan. safe and sound with his son. thankfully, due to shimizu and hitoka, shoyo was able to go to his new apartment building, fully furnished with his and the baby's stuff. for the first day back, japan seemed.... peaceful. different.
but, that was only the first day.
the second day, and every other day leading into a week, was quiet hectic, with trying to settle in this new place with his baby, walking around in japan, and trying not to speak french around anyone, except his baby, who could partially understand what he said.
shoyo, although, had already applied for a job at a nearby café. he needed to make money to at least support the both of them without his parents help, shimizu's, or hitoka's. of course, he still needed a babysitter. thus, he made his way to his parent's house, which was luckily a block away.
shoyo quickly packed up stuff that asuka could possibly need, like, milk, food, diapers, toys, ect., and just as shoyo walked out, carrying asuka, he ran into someone that seemed to familiar. a pudding head. a mean one. one that left him with a bill, around... 2 or 3 years ago. but no, that was from first glance, he might've been wrong.
shoyo tried to ignore it and shrug it off, but as he got closer to the exit of the apartment complex, he heard someone.
"oi."
shoyo turns around, and is met with the same pudding head. the one who matched his (perfect) description of the blind date. the 2nd one of 27.
"yes..?"
shoyo asks, clearly not very interested in a conversation at the moment.
"....uhm....do you... remember me?"
the pudding head asked.
"oh uhm.. let me think."
shoyo says sarcastically.
"uhm... yeah! i think so!"
he says, in a cheerful tone.
"oh, uhm. okay. why do you have a kid?"
kenma asks
"...babysitting."
he responds, lying.
"uhm..okay, do you uh... wanna exchange numbers?"
kenma asks, with a small red tint running across his face.
"sure!"
as the two boys exchange numbers, when shoyo has to go, he drops the bomb.
"if you get boring, i'll drop you!"
he says, before walking out of the building, leaving kenma there, shocked.
