it was christmas eve, and the two boys decided to stay with hinata
and the little red-head. they where at hinata's apartment where barely anyone
was, probably out seeing family or something. but, this was good, considering
they could get pretty loud.
entering the luxurious front gold see-through doors, the apartment lobby
was decorated with candy canes, poinsettia's, occasional mistletoe, and a big
elegant tree in the middle where the dip of stairs leads to. the tree was giving off
a scent of pine and candy cane. it was decorated beautifully with bows, ornaments,
and to top it off, a bright, gold star.
to say it in the simplest way,
hinata's apartment room had nothing on how the lobby was decorated. he only had a christmas tree with some ornaments, a small star at the top, and a few holiday decorations here and there throughout the rooms.
but, it was enough for the three boys, and enough to satisfy hinata's little child.
as they talked on the sofa, hinata's baby had decided he wanted to open a present.
so, they let him open the smallest one.
it was a beautiful gold necklace with a nice purple necklace in the middle.
sure, a baby wouldn't wear it, but it was special to hinata, and he wanted his son to have it even if he couldn't wear it at the time being. at least he would have it in his room.
"woah...where'd you get that..?"
kindaichi asks
"yeah....and no offense, but why did you give your baby a necklace like that..?"
kunimi adds
hinata chuckles lightly and answers,
"it was a gift from someone.... asu's dad to be exact. he left it in the hotel room, and that was the only think of him left. i gave it to asuka because it's the only thing of her father that she can really see right now."
"oh..sho- i'm sorry..."
kinumi says
"don't worry about it."
hinata says quietly
just as hinata finished his sentence, a shooting star passed quickly, but it was just enough time to for kindaichi to say,
"ohhh!ooohhh! make a wish! hurry!"
and so they did...
asuka wished...
kunimi wished...
kindaichi wished...
hinata wished...
they all slowly opened their eyes, and looked at eachother.
"what'd you wish for?"
kindaichi assk
"i can't tell you. it won't come true if i do"
hinata says
kunimi agreed, nodding, and the baby clapped while having a wide open smile on his face.
at that time, it was getting quiet late, so hinata was laying on the couch with asuka on his stomache, falling asleep.
kindaichi and kunimi noticed this, and decided to take their leave so they wouldn't wake up the tangerine, or sleeping baby.
kindaichi and kunimi looked at each other and nodded slightly as they slowly inched their way towards hinata. they both slightly bent down and blushed. they kissed the sides of hinata's cheek, and made their way to the door, leaving.
they rushed down to the lobby, and where met with kenma.
"what are you doing here?"
kenma asks, suspicious
"uh- nothing! we wanted to see you....?"
kindaichi said.
(asked)
"...my room is on the third floor. you came from the fifth."
kenma said, gazing at them
"we went to visit shoyo."
kunimi says honestly
kindaichi's and kenma's eyes slightly widen.
"y-you weren't supposed to-"
"oh. hm. alright..."
kenma says,
surprisingly calm
kenma walks away, and both boys remaining look at each other,
confused.

hinata smiles to himself, feeling the warmth on his cheeks, as both boys leave the room, quietly.
