"Rouge calm down. He's doing this on purpose."

"Of course... You want to know WHY I never wanted to "mind control" you?"

"Wait, he never controlled you? So all those things you did-"
"I did it because Ben, or well Syphus apparently, manipulated me. If I had known his true motives I would've never helped him."
"Ah my sweet little (Y/n). Always wanting to help others. Truth is, I never controlled you because you would actually be less useful if I did. You're a smart person, but you often overthink and doubt yourself. You're also extremely naive at times. It was easy to get you to do what I wanted without using you as a puppet, instead as a sort of pawn."
"Well now I know your plans. You can't fool me this time."
"Oh I know. Luckily I already have what I want, so I don't need to manipulate you anymore. Now, I can just use you as another one of my puppets."
"WHAT?! NO!"

"Awww, don't worry my dear. Everything is going to be fine."
