I was surprised by Caius's gift the most. It was a sketch journal filled with pictures of me and inspirational quotes throughout history. I flushed before leaning over and kissing each of them on the cheek. They seemed startled by my actions as I flusteredly thanked them for the gifts before hurrying back to the party where Alice was giving me a knowing look.
My heart was hammering in my chest and I felt warm and tingly all over. The gifts were personalized for the kings personality towards their lover. Aro loved to spoil and dress his lover with jewelry and silk dresses, Marcus adored flowers and gardening and looked for beautiful flowers to give to his beloved, and Caius was artistic and constantly drew the muse that held his cold fiery heart.
I went home and changed into pajamas before laying on my bed and looking through the journal again. It was late and I'd gone through the journal nearly 15 times before stopping and hugging it to my chest and falling asleep.
