Christina's POV
We landed in Italy and Alice insisted that I freshen up in the airport bathroom while she found a means of transportation. I reluctantly agreed and went to change into some cooler clothes and washed my hands and face in the sink.

I mentally cursed myself for not paying attention to what I grabbed in my haste

I mentally cursed myself for not paying attention to what I grabbed in my haste. Thankfully I grabbed shoes that I could run in. I walked out the bathroom just in time to see Alice hastily pull up in a yellow Porsche and honk her horn.

I scurried in and she sped off before I could even put my seatbelt on! We were in Volterra in seconds thanks to Alice's crazy driving

I scurried in and she sped off before I could even put my seatbelt on! We were in Volterra in seconds thanks to Alice's crazy driving. Unfortunately there was a festival going on and we had to separate in order to get to Edward in time.

I ran through the crowded streets of the village and made my way to the clock tower. I bumped into people from time to time and merely threw a 'sorry' in Italian over my shoulder. I finally managed to find the clock tower and ran inside I went straight for the elevator since I couldn't see any stairs. Though I wished I took a moment longer to look as the elevator was too slow for my liking, but it gave me a moment to catch my breath.

My legs and lungs burned from all the running I'd been doing and my heart hammered in my chest threatening to burst out. All I could hear was my own heartbeat and I was basically on autopilot as my mind was racing so fast with anxiety that I couldn't focus. All I knew was that this castle was familiar to me as if I'd been here before and I was reliving a memory. I decided that the best way to save Edward was to trust my instincts.

When the elevator finally stopped, I bolted out and ran down the hallway into a lobby looking room where a secretary was sitting at a desk with a computer and there were a two plush couches seated in the room. I ignored the secretary as she jumped up and started yelling "Aspetta! Smettila! Non puoi entrare lì!" (Wait! Stop! You can't go in there!) and I bolted straight for the double doors where my heart was pulling me. I threw them open only to see Edward on his knees in front of three thrones with three familiar men.

The middle man was in front of Edward. His hands were on Edward's cheeks in what would've been a sweet gesture of comfort if not for the fact that he was steadily pulling Edward's head off causing cracks to appear!

I tried to speak but I was still too winded. Thankfully Alice appeared behind me and yelled out "My kings! Please stop this! The Queen is alive and well!" This made everyone freeze and and snap their gaze over to us. The kings gaze landed on me and the middle man dropped Edward from his grasp.

Edward looked up at me in shock "Christina...." The three men zipped over to my stunned form and started checking me over "Mia regina..." they kept whispering until they were interrupted by an all to familiar screeching voice saying "What the hell is going on here?!" We all turned our heads to see Bella wearing...
