Suddenly, there were some harsh howls

behind him. In the blink of an eye, several golden figures shot out from

behind Chen Ming and jumped onto the zombie’s chest and shoulders.

Chen Ming couldn’t tell what the golden

things were, but he heard the zombie’s deafening wail.

They were helpers.

When Chen Ming

realized they were weasels, the zombie had already been half-eaten. He could

not imagine how they bit through the impregnable zombie skin. The Huang Immortal had its own trick.

Seeing that the zombie was beaten, Chen Ming finally relaxed and sat against a tree. As he

waited for the adrenaline to fade, his muscles got sore.

The rain was getting smaller.

The glass bottle was still

shaking. Chen Ming pulled out the cork, and Zhou Nan immediately came out. He

hugged Chen Ming tightly, rubbing against the latter’s temples.

There was no rejoice after they survived the battle, but now Zhou Nan’s move got Chen Ming’s heart pounding.

“You scared me to

death! You said you wouldn’t force yourself!” Zhou Nan was angry and afraid.

His body trembled, and he did not notice his actions were too intimate.

Chen Ming did not resist. He stared at the trembling back of Zhou Nan and was

overwhelmed.

It was a bit awkward that

the two big men were hugging like this. But surprisingly, Chen Ming did not

feel uncomfortable. He wanted to put his hand on Zhou Nan’s back and

gently pat the latter. His hand was already halfway

when…

Zhou Nan suddenly straightened up and blamed Chen Ming with agitation: “Look at you! Covered in blood, risk your life every day!”

A panicky look crossed Chen

Ming’s eyes, and he quickly drew back his hand, looking down at himself.

Even though the rain had diluted some blood,

there were still blood dots all over the clothes. Some was dog blood,

and some was Chen Ming’s. He neglected the blame and said it was because of the poorly wrapped blood bags.

Zhou Nan rolled his eyes. When he wanted to say he had seen Chen Ming coughing blood, he noticed there was a weasel beside them somehow. It stood up and looked at them with a

sly look.

Chen Ming had already noticed the weasel before Zhou Nan asked about it.

He didn’t turn around and casually

greeted it, “Master Huang, what brings you here? I’ve kept the hairs you

gave me.”

The weasel did not respond.

There were chewing sounds nearby, which made Zhou Nan’s hair stand on end. He vaguely saw groups of weasels

passing through the field. He had never seen so many of them at a time and didn’t know if this yellow weasel was on their side.

“I’ve got the information you

asked for. I don’t want to tell you after you’re dead.” The weasel blinked

mischievously, “By the way, I asked my brothers to clean up the zombies on

this mountain.”

Chen Ming raised his eyebrows and

immediately smiled as if he was not the one who almost got killed a few minutes

ago: “Efficient! Now tell me about it.”

“There

are two situations” The weasel raised its two little fingers, “If

there is still Yang Shou, you’d need the blood of the poisoned insect, hairs of the zombie, and tears from the resentful baby. If there is no Yang Shou,

you’d need fox fairy tendons, groaning spirits, the returned ghost, and moonlight

on the 15th of the seventh lunar month. As for the array and spells…”

“I

know.” Chen Ming interrupted confidently.

Zhou Nan was confused and couldn’t chime in.

The Huang Immortal shook the rain off its body and jumped to Chen Ming, “How did you

know? You don’t even know the raw materials.”

Chen Ming said calmly, “Because I’ve seen it.”

“You

have seen it?” The weasel asked further while jumping around uneasily.

Chen

Ming smiled and didn’t answer. Just then, two little weasels came running with

a piece of dark bone. Chen Ming picked it up and fiddled with it, “This is the zombie’s

bone? Finally, I did not come in vain. ” Chen Ming stood up leaning against the tree.

He was too exhausted.

Seeing

that Chen Ming wanted to keep the secret, the Huang Immortal stopped asking, “Young man, take

it easy. Or you’ll lose your life before the revival.”

Revival?

Zhou Nan thought he had an illusion. He wanted to ask but

was afraid he might interrupt.

“Thank

you for your advice.” Chen Ming replied perfunctorily. “Right, these hairs

I…”

“Keep

them, and they’ll come in handy.”

Chen

Ming bowed and said nothing more to thank the weasel. “Come on Zhou Nan, let’s go down

the mountain.”

Zhou Nan answered in a daze and floated

along. He heard the Huang Immortal from behind, “You are a blessed ghost.” As

Zhou Nan turned back, the weasel had already gone.

He

stopped, feeling confused.

“Zhou Nan!”

The

timid ghost came to his senses and found Chen Ming was already far away. He

quickly caught up, “Alas, I’m coming!”

Chen

Ming put his hand on Zhou Nan’s shoulder like a close friend. He reached Zhou

Nan’s ear and whispered, “Cheer up. I have a task for you. ”
