The Bet (Part 4): Backdoor Access [Nayeon x M Reader]

"You all did absolutely amazing!" Y/N exclaimed.

"We try," said Jihyo, grinning.

"We did more than try!" said Nayeon. "We killed that shit!" She gave Momo a high five.

None of them seemed to be tired in the slightest. Y/N wasn't surprised. Post-concert high was a legitimate problem, for the girls often struggled getting to sleep. But they had a day off tomorrow, meaning they could catch up on their sleep if they wanted to.

Two hours later, the girls were throwing an impromptu dance party in Momo and Jeongyeon's room. It had started with Sana intruding after they all finished showering, and had evolved into the girls inviting each other over in a chain.

At some point, they decided to invite Y/N. He was standing awkwardly in the corner, sipping on a juice box and feeling like a six-year-old kid at an adult party.

"What's up with you?" Sana asked, having made her way over.

"I'm drinking juice," said Y/N.

"No alcohol?"

"Not tonight."

"Come dance!"

"I'm alright," said Y/N.

Sana shrugged and headed back.

But Y/N was feeling the urge to join in when "Haru Haru" came over the speaker. A wave of nostalgia washed over his body, and he put on the most depressed expression he could muster to sing along with the lyrics.

떠나가...

Yeah, finally I realize, that I'm nothing without you...

I was so wrong, forgive me...

All ten of them sang at the same time, but the girls ambushed Y/N during T.O.P's part, leaving him rapping by himself. Y/N relented and joined the nine of them in the middle of the room, reciting the lyrics as dramatically as he could:

The girls joined back in to sing the chorus at the top of their lungs:
