When Felix and Pepa are teens.

Felix pov

"Mama! Papa! I'm going out!" I yelled.

"Ah! To see Pepa I presume?" Papa said, smiling.

I nodded and blushed a bit. He and Mama knew about my feelings for Pepa but I didn't want to make a move yet. She'd been feeling insecure lately and felt that people only wanted to be near her was when they wanted something from her. Unfortunately that was something true. Some people stayed clear of her because she was 'too emotional' and that would lead to a change in weather that would bother them. But even while they say to stay away from her, they wouldn't hesitate to ask her to feel sad so she can rain on the crops or to feel happy so the clothes dry quicker. With all of this, the last thing I would want is for her to think that I was only friends with her because I liked her, which isn't true.

"Hey Felix!" Pepa said as I walked over to her. She had a rainbow above her.

"Hello Pepa, you're happy I see." I said smiling at her.

"Well I finished my town chores which means I have the rest of the afternoon off! We just have to be back by 6 for dinner."

"That's great! So do you want to hang out with me today? It could be just us two or with your siblings."

"Just us two is fine." she said as more rainbows appeared.

"Well then, let's start shall we?" I said offering my hand to her. She laughed and nodded as she grabbed my hand.

"Well, let's see... do you want to go out into the forest?" I know how much she loves going into the forest. She always complained about it, but was so happy when she spends time in it.

"Alright, but Mama won't be happy if my dress is dirty."

We laughed and raced towards the forest.

"I won!" she yelled as she jumped up and down in victory.

"Well, yeah. But that's because you always win." I said trying to catch my breath.

"So, want to play hide and seek?" she asked.

"Definitely." I may be awful at running, but when it comes to finding people, Pepa was hopeless.

"I'll hide!" I said as I began running off and she began counting. I wasn't that good at hiding, but whenever we played I won by hiding around some trees and following behind her.

"Ready or not here I come!" she began looking around the trees around her. I kept moving my position so I was in places she already checked. We continued like this for about 10 minutes, I stayed hidden because I wanted to see how long we could keep this up.

"Felix! I'll find you." she said sounding nervous. I looked back at her and saw clouds forming around her. "Felix!" she screamers and rain fell. I ran to her, and she jumped into a hug, crying.

"Where were you? Are you hurt? I was so worried! I thought something bad may have happened to you?"

"I'm alright. I was...I'm alright." I decided not to say where I was hiding because she'd definitely get mad at me if I did.

"Oh no! Now we're all muddy!" she said looking underneath us to where the dirt had turned to mud due to the rain.

"It's fine, how about we pick some flowers?" I offered knowing that it calmed her down.

She nodded and we began looking around for flowers.

"We should make flower crowns!" she said. Looking at all the ones we collected.

"Alright, but you have to make mine and I'll make yours." I said. I had already pictured which flowers would look perfect on her. After 5 minuets of working, we placed our flower crown on each other's heads at the same time. Afterwards we began making some for our families.

"It looks like it should be getting close to dinner time..." I noticed looking at the sky.

"Yeah, we should probably head home for dinner." She agreed.

We began walking towards the town.

"You should come over for dinner." Pepa said.

"Sure, but I have to get cleaned up and ask my parents first." I said hopeing that I could go. I didn't want to leave her just yet. "I'll pop by if they said I could go. If not, then I'll see you tomorrow!"

Pepa pov

We said our goodbyes and went home. I went and got cleaned up, then went to help my siblings set the table.

"Where were you?" Bruno asked.

"She was with her boyfriend~" Julieta joked.

"He's not my boyfriend!" I yelled.

"But you do like him." Julieta said.

"But he probably doesn't like me." I said feeling a cloud from above my head.

"Oh please, Pepa!" Bruno said, "He looks at you like you're the most perfect thing in the world! Like you're a goddess! You could probably kill someone and he'd probably not hold it against you! He'd probably try to calm you down because you'd be freaking out!"

I felt my face get hot. He probably would do that. A big smile formed on my mouth.

"Plus," Julieta added, "You guys are perfect for each other. He helps you when you feel overwhelmed, sad, angry, or freak out. He doesn't try to make you stop feeling the way you do. He supports you and you support him. When things between you two became rocky you guys talk it out and make sure everything is okay. Plus he respects everyone. He'd never treat you wrong for any reason."

"He really is the perfect person." I said seeing a rainbow above my head. We then got ready to eat.

"Hello!" I heard Felix's voice say as he entered our house.

"Felix sit here!" Bruno said as a chair moved to be next to him and next to me. Felix went over and began putting food on his plate.

"Nice for you to join us." Mama said to Felix then gave me a look telling me she knew about my feelings for him.

We are dinner, then me and Felix made our way to the roof.

"Thank you for inviting me." Felix said smiling at me.

"Anytime, I like hanging out with you." I said as I looked down feeling my face flush. I glanced at him, he really was perfect.

"Felix." I said nervously. I think I want to tell him. "I love you."

He looked at me, eyes wide, then broke out into the biggest smile I've ever seen.

"I love you too, Pepa Madrigal."
