"So, how was this term?" He asks.

My biggest enemy since childhood decided to show up and I somehow was patterned with him for a project, then I caught feeling and now I'm officially a pathetic bitch crying over a guy. Someone I swore I'll never even come close to becoming?
"Fine" I mumble stabbing my potatoes.
They look disgusting.
I don't want to eat.

"Ok...how's your and Ezra's relationship Venice?" Dad asks.
I feel her stop her movements and tense beside me as he speaks.
"Chase, that's her personal life" Lena smacks his arm.
"Of course, how's your and Ares's Sweets?" Dad asks me plastering a bitter smile onto his face.

"We were never a thing" I lie.

"Now Max wouldn't lie to me, would he?" Dad says.

"What did he tell you?" Ven asks.
She knows every-fucking-thing, if she's confused than I'm fucked.
"Oh nothing much" Dad smiles.
"Just Azora and Ares were getting close, and apparently he asked her on a date on Tuesday" He explains.
Worst day of my life.
"Is that why you made the reservation?" I ask still assaulting my potatoes.
"Indeed" he responds finishing his meal and placing the cutlery down.
"Chase, you should not be believing my dick-of-a son" Lena scolds.

"Did you two have a thing? Azora?" Dad challenges.
I tighten my grip on my fork and butter knife as he speaks.
Yes dad, we did have something but apparently it was nothing to him.
"What if we did? What are you going to do?" I respond placing my cutlery down harshly.
"Answer the question Azora" He demands.
"Why do you need to know?" I scoff.
It's not like he wanted to know anything about my life for the last 5 years.
