moments later, we lock eyes. his sky blue eyes stare into my black onyx ones. my heart races as i open my mouth to speak, but nothing comes out. i want to call his name, i want to wrap my arms around him and hug him tightly, but i can't.
we just stare into each others eyes, my face turns even redder than it already is and i begin to inch a little closer. it's not a big step but it's something.
"naruto.." i choke out, in almost a whisper. so soft i don't even think he could've heard me.
