*Zariah POV*

I woke up and went home. Last night I was so ready to rip Dez's boxers off and go to town but how. I have no idea what to do. Oral has never been something I've been interested in. Giving or receiving. I don't get well I didn't get any stimulation from it. But no the things Dez does with a tongue.
I got home and showered. When I got out of the shower Nan was in my room

"Hello Nan" I was slightly startled by her

"You didn't come home last night" she crossed her arms

"I stayed with my friend last night" I adjusted my towel

"You lying" She looked at me

"Nan I was with Desiree" I crossed my arms
I used her real name. It felt foreign coming out of my mouth.

"I'm sorry" she sighed

"Trust me more" I opened the door

"It's not that I don't trust you. I just want you to be safe" She smiled

"Thinking of applying for some jobs today Nan. I want some freedom" I sighed

"A job would give you freedom," she asked

"Maybe" I shrugged

"If that's what you want" She smiled "I'll let you get on that"

"Love you Nan" I smiled

"Love you too" she walked out
I got dressed and sat on my bed with my laptop to browse jobs. I was reading through listings and taking note of a few I liked when there was a knock on the door.

"Come in" I called out

"A job" Zion walked in

"Hello Zion" I kept my gaze on my laptop

"This is serious Z. Why a job all of a sudden. You had a chance to go to college, get a degree and get a job. You didn't want it. All of a sudden you do" He sat on the bed

"You get to work with Uncle Meech but I gotta sit at home with Nan and knit" I rolled my eyes

"No one is saying that" He rubbed his face

"Why is everyone so uptight about me looking into jobs" I looked up

"It's sudden. You've shown no interest before. You don't have a work ethic or experience" He crossed his arms

"Consider this my interest" I got up

"Z no one is saying you can't work" He sighed

"You're just saying I don't work and I won't work" I crossed my arms

"Z I'm just saying what kind of jobs are you even looking into. We are set we don't need to work"

"Because we don't need to, we shouldn't" I laughed sarcastically "real richy rich of you"

"Uncle Meech does all he can to provide a life for us" He rubbed his face

"Nan is retired. You work with him. It's time I pull my weight and do something for myself. My friends work. All I do is stay home or go out with friends after they are done with work. Oh and date men and get me in bad situations. Maybe a job would occupy me. Can't almost get knocked up by a jerk if I'm busy with a 9-5" I sat back down

"Is that what this is about"  he asked "poor relationship decisions"

"No, it's about me wanting some damn freedom. I'm 25, not 15" I sighed

"You're right, Z. I'm just so scared if anything happens. If anything else goes wrong. Uncle Meech will blame me" he sighed

"What can go wrong with a job" I laughed
