chapter 7: shocking turn of events.

(Jaune pov)

Jaune: it was me.

After hearing that, this shocked ozpin & glynda

Glynda: you saved an entire outside village, all by yourself?

Jaune: not by myself, I had helmets with others, and those others are the reason why I'm still ticking.

Ozpin: but where were you? And who are these "others"?

Jaune: well....

As he was about to answer, he heard something coming up from the elevator, fearing it was someone he might know. So he got up from his seat and said...

Jaune: don't tell anyone I was here or that I'm alive, at least not yet.

He said as he turned invisible, which surprised the headmaster and the combat teacher

As the elevator went up, two blonde people exited the elevator and approached ozpin & glynda, and those two blondes are jaune's mom and dad, Charlotte and Nicholas Arc

Nicholas: ozpin, did any of your students find any leads of where our son is?

Ozpin was unsure to answer that question, until jaune uncloaked himself and started using sign language saying "don't say it". Ozpin didn't know what he was saying until he understood it

Ozpin: no Nicholas, none of them found your son yet

After hearing that, they lowered their heads down

Charlotte: (sniffs) it's fine, it's just....(then starts sobbing uncontrollably)

After she started crying, Nicholas bent down to his wife, trying to calm her down and started to give ozpin a death giving glare at him

Nicholas: ozpin....this is (then yells) ALL YOUR FAULT!!!!

Glynda: no it isn...

Charlotte: YES IT IS, IT'S HIS FAULT FOR SENDING HIM ON THAT SOLO MISSION, SINCE THEN OUR DAUGHTERS WERE CRYING FOR DAYS WHEN THEY HEARD OF HIS DISAPPEARANCE, FOR ALL WE KNOW MY BABY COULD BE DEAD, JAUNE COULD BE DEAD!!!!!!!

Ozpin: mrs...

Nicholas: don't you "Mrs. Arc" her. My wife is right about you, it's all your fault, HAVEN'T YOU DONE ENOUGH!!!!!

After hearing that, ozpin remained silent

Nicholas: that's what we thought.

After that, they were about to leave the office until...

Ozpin: I just wanted to tell him I'm sorry.

After hearing that, jaune's parent's eyes widened

Ozpin: I just wanted to say I'm sorry, I knew sending him on that mission was a mistake, but when your son was starting to get better at his fighting skills, I thought a solo mission would prove his worth, but all it did was got him missing, even though if my students do find him, I just hope that he'll forgive me.

When jaune heard that, he was at a loss of words. Him getting put in a murder drone body was one thing, but seeing his family upset and worried for him started to think that right now is the time to reveal himself

Jaune: I forgive you ozpin.

When his parents heard that voice, they knew who it was

Jaune: (uncloaks himself) and mom, dad, I'm sorry that I made you worry.
