Club World Cup Feelings Pt2

It past three days, three days of Y/N not hearing from Mason, three days of Mason not hearing from Y/N. Neither of them weren't good those three days.

Y/N got temperature again and was crying almost the whole day because she loved him, but she wasn't ready to get in relationship with him.

And Mason, there is a lot of what happened to him past three days. He told his manager he was in contact with tested positive person but he didn't have to get in isolation because he is vaccined and then it got even worse for him. He couldn't concentrate on training and Thomas was more than worried what is happening with one of the best player he has.

"I can't" Mason said to his teammate and left pitch going to his changing room

He needed to be alone but he also needed to be here, on trainings that he couldn't concentrate on.

Y/N on the other hand was lying on her bed wrapped in her blankets coughing as she still had temperature.

It was 8pm when Y/N got call from Declan, one of her good friends and best friend of the boy she loves.

At first she didn't want to answer the call but at the end she did.

"hey" she said softly

"hey Y/N, how are you, how's your sickness going?" Declan asked

"um, I'm okay, I took my temperature down for a bit now, my throat is still hurting and I think I lost smell because I just put some hoodie on that I'm perfectly sure that have hard smell but I don't feel a single thing" Y/N said smelling her hoodie once again, to be more precise it was Mason's hoodie and it smell on him but she didn't felt it

"but at least you're a bit better?" Declan asked his friend

"a little bit" she said quietly that he barely heard her

"I heard what happened with Mason" Declan said and she just sighed

"Y/N, I want you to know that I am here if you need something, I can go to grocery or pharmacy for you, just call or text me if you need something and I will bring it to you" he said as she felt her heart warming up, she loved her friends and now, when she is in this situation, she see who is her real friend

"thank you" she said

"I will let you to sleep now, but really, if you need something I am here" Declan said

"thanks, good night Dec" she said

"good night Y/N/N" he said and she lightly smiled, hung up and soon enough she fell asleep

"and what do you think you've done with calling her in front of me and putting her on speaker?" Mason asked his guy best friend

"she's hurt too, it's not only you Mason" Declan said to his best friend

"I know how much you-"

"noone knows that" Mason interrupted Declan

"but I see it, if you don't love her as much as you do you won't risk your next matches and get in contact with tested positive person no matter that you're vaccined, you won't be this hurt if you don't love her as much as you do" Declan said

"and I see the way your eyes sparkle every time you see her and the smile on your face too not to mention how quickly your mood change when she is around" Declan said as Mason was quiet, he knew that all of this what Declan just said was true

"because of that, you need to talk with her, on any possible way, if she really don't want anything more than friendship with you, you would be happy with that, if you really loves her, but after everything I know you do" Declan said and that was the last what Mason needed to hear

An hour and half later Mason was back in Fulham, unlocking the doors of Y/N's apartment. He quietly entered her apartment slowly limping on right ankle.

He quietly entered Y/N's bedroom sitting on the edge of her bed. He took deep breath and remove hair from Y/N's face, her cheeks were warm, he put his hand on her forehead and it was also warm, she has temperature, again.

He went to Y/N's bathroom taking towel from locker and pouring warm water on it, as he did it he took it with him in bedroom putting it on Y/N's forehead.

He went to kitchen in try to find some pills against temperature. As he got back to Y/N's room with water and pills she was half awake.

"Mason" she mumbled half sleeping

"it's me Y/N, would you take pill?" he asked looking at girl in front of him

"what time is it?" she asked opening her eyes and looking at him

"11pm" Mason said stroking her cheek

"carefully" he said as she sat up and he gave her water and pill

"what are you doing here?" she asked leaning her head against the back of her bed

"I came to see you.....and to talk with you" he said as her warm hand were found on his what surprised him so he looked down at her hand on his

"I'm sorry" she said quietly as she put her other hand on his cheek

"I've been in love with you almost since we met but....I'm scared" she said stroking his cheek

"you have nothing to be scared of as long as I am beside you" he said and pressed her hand to his lips leaving kiss on it

"I know I put you in state you didn't want to be in and I am sorry because of that but I just....I love you so much Y/N and I can't be without you, we can stay friends if you're not ready....yeah I know I said that I am sick of us being friends but this time is different because you know how I feel and I know how you feel" he said putting few locks of her hair behind her ears

"would you cuddle your sick best friend?" Y/N asked as light smile was on her lips

"you don't have to ask for that" he smiled at her taking towel from her forehead and he laid beside her as she hugged him

"why is this temperature so stuck with you?" Mason quietly asked running his fingers through Y/N's hair, he loved her hair so much, actually, he loved every single little thing about her

"I don't know" she whispered

"you lost weight Y/N, do you eat enough?" he asked worrying for his girl

"I can't eat" she said and he just exhale unsatisfactorily

"from tomorrow you are going to eat everything what won't eat you" he said being completely serious

"but I-"

"no buts, I left you enough long alone but now I am here and I will take care of you and this body" he said as she mumbled something not really happy with him being there with her because she knew he will give her a lot of food tomorrow but she really couldn't eat

"and I'm a butt person, just for you to know" he informed her as his hand was just a little bit above her butt

She just giggled at his last sentence and pushed her face more onto his chest and soon enough she fell asleep on the chest of the boy she loved after they finally sorted everything out.
