Movie Night With Best Friend

I'm at my best friend's house because we have movie night. As always one of us pick the movie and other one need to get popcorns, today's on me to get popcorns which means Mason picks which movie we will watch.

"are you coming?" Mason shouted from living room

"just a second" I said and in that second popcorns were ready, I took it from microwave and threw it in big bowl and walked to the living room

"finally" he said smiling looking up at me

"give me a space" I said and sat on the edge of couch, yeah couch is big but I always want to be on his place

"come here" he said and pointed to him and his lap

"what? No, just move a bit" I said pushing him a bit until he picked me up and sat me on his lap

"now stop moving because movie starts" he said putting bowl with popcorns on my lap

He wrapped his arm around my waist so he can take popcorns.

"MASON" I shouted when he threw popcorns on my hair

He started laughing shooting popcorns to my face. I turned around so my legs are on each side of him and I started to shooting popcorns on him what made us both laughing as we were like little kids not 22 years old.

"okay Mase, it's enough, stop" I said under breath of laughing

"no" he said and continued to shoot popcorns on me

"stopppp" I groaned

"make me" he said and smiled more than he did so far

I just pulled him by neck and kissed him. For my surprise he didn't pulled back, instead of that he kissed back, gently pulling me closer to him.

After few moments we pulled away in need for air

"and that was-"

"to make you stop shooting me with popcorns" I said and sat next to him watching in TV trying not to smile

I can't believe I just kissed my best friend for who I actually have feelings and he didn't pulled away, he kissed me back.

After few seconds I felt Mason's hand on my thigh and I just looked at him.

"I thought I would need to wait the whole life to make the first step but, here you are" he said smiling and now confusing me, does he really likes me back?

"first step?" I asked

"why you kissed me?" he asked confusing me even more

"to make you stop shoo-"

"shooting you with popcorn, yeah of course" he said and I can hear sarcasm in his voice

"the truth Y/N, why you kissed me" he said

"I told you" I said

"I'm sure that's not the only reason" he said

"you like me huh?" he asked pinching my cheeks causing me blush

"y-no" I mumbled and he laughed

"great because I like you too" he said and kissed me

The rest of the night we spend definitely not watching movie but kissing the whole time and talking how no one of us didn't want to admit feelings for other.
