Y/n's pov

"You don't have yours?" I asked.

He shook his head.

"We left in a hurry this morning babe, I didn't have time to grab it."

"And you assumed that I'd have mine?"

"Yes?"

"It's in my purse, which should be in the car, unless you didn't grab it when we left the house like I told you."

He bent over and grabbed my purse, looking through it.

"You brought that in already?"

He nodded, finding my phone and typing in my password.

I looked down at my little girl.

Chris muttered as he typed in a question to Google.

"baby.. girl.. names."

I smiled, softly giggling.

He showed me the phone.

"Choose one you like."

I looked through some of the list.

"These are basic names, old and overused." I said.

I smirked as I went to my messages app and I added every girl Chris was friends with into a group, and I said:

"Whoever responds first, I'm
naming my little girl after you."

I immediately saw text bubbles from Scarlett Johansson.

"ME! ME! PLEASE NAME
HER AFTER ME!"

I giggled.

"What are you doing?" Chris asked.

I handed him my phone "I didn't want to choose a basic boring name so I added some friends into a group and I said "Whoever responds first, I'm naming my little girl after you." And Scarlett replied first."

I poked my little girls nose softly.

"Your name is now Scarlett."

She cooed softly.

Chris smirked as he sighed, shaking his head.

"What?" I asked.

"You're funny." He chuckled.

"Wait, I know everyone in this group chat, I work with them, how did you get their numbers?"

I looked him in the eyes.

"I asked them." I said.

"That's it?" He asked.

"Yes." I said, as Scarlett grabbed my finger, and held it tightly.

I smiled.

"You are just the sweetest thing ever, I'm in love."

"I wonder how the dogs are going to react." I said.

Chris and I looked at each other, in the eyes.

"I'm sure they wouldn't harm her, at least not on purpose." He assured me.

I looked back at Scarlett and I smiled at her, running my finger along her cheek.

My eyes suddenly felt heavy and they started closing.

Chris noticed this and he carefully grabbed the baby, holding her.

"Thanks." I muttered tiredly.

I closed my eyes and I fell asleep.

*10 months later*

"Go, walk to daddy." I gave Scarlett a little push of encouragement.

I took my hands away and she immediately fell on her butt.

"Chris get a little closer, and encourage her okay?"

He nodded, holding his arms out, motioning for her to come to him.

I grabbed her hands and she stood up, and I took my hands away again, and she started taking her first steps, walking towards Chris, and then she turned around and walked back to me.

I laughed softly as she gave me a hug.

"Aww, I love you."

She mimicked my words back to me. (It's completely normal for babies to mimic words)

I kissed her cheek and I turned her around, and I gave her a little push.

She started walking towards Chris, and he was recording her first steps.

He was smiling widely as she walked towards him.

I smiled when Scarlett hugged him, and said her first word.

"Da-da." She said to Chris, and he caught it on his camera.

His jaw dropped and he smiled, picking her up.

"Babe! Did you hear that? She said "Da-da!" She said her first word!"

I smiled proudly.

"I know."

He kissed her cheek.

"I'm proud of you!"

He hugged her kissing her cheek again.

"I love you so much."
