In an opening cutscene, Glamrock Freddy, Montgomery Gator, Roxanne Wolf, and Glamrock Chica get ready for a musical performance. Once they're ready, they are sent up into the audience as they perform. During the performance, Freddy began to malfunction as his systems began to shut down, and collapse, on the stage in front of the audience. The performance was cut off, and Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex was in night shift protocols for now.
