Why me?

There was blood everywhere

The ground was shaking

The screams of millions of people were deafening

People were running

They cried as some of their loved ones were trampled by others

They cried in terror as they ran for their life's

They cried in sadness as some were forced to leave behind others

They cried in agony as they laid on the ground, trying so hard to escape their fate

But it was all for not...as millions of giant feet trampled and squashed them all

Every man

Every woman

Every child

Every baby

Every elder

The pregnant, sick, poor, old,  and young were all squashed

Their bodies flattened as their blood flew everywhere

Their bodies exploded as they were stepped on

Their bodies were impossible to see as the feet moved on

Their cries of pure anguish, pain, and terror were silenced by a deafening stomp

Their organs went flying everywhere

Everything from the intestines to the kidney

And yet the feet moved on...as if they haven't even noticed they were killing millions

And in the middle of it all I stood

I was horrified

Not of the millions of colossal titans flattening the earth

It was because of those dying simply because they were born into this world

I felt like throwing up. I felt like getting on my knees and screaming. I felt like trying to stop this. I desperately wanted to run and help as much people as I can. But I couldn't do anything but stare with wide horrified and dead eyes

No matter what I could do, it would all be for nothing. I, as well as hundreds of others, were on a cliff. They had no way of escaping except for that dangerous fall.

I watched as some jumped off. Was it because they had hope of surviving? Or was it because they decided dying by jumping was better than dying under the feet of titans?

The mothers held their babies up high, up onto the heavens as their cries were heard. The babies...were born to die... and I could do nothing but watch as they got closer and closer

and I could do nothing but watch as they got closer and closer
