34. Realisation Hits

Sanaya was looking up at the twinkling stars in the sky and cold breeze was hitting her face which made her snuggle more into her shawl

Sanaya closed her eyes and all the incidents took place today flashed infront of her eyes

'What if I would have said something that I would have regret!' Sanaya thought

'Abhimanyu! Why? Why do you affect me soo much! Why did it affected me when I hurted you that day! I didn't wanted to hurt you but... IDK what is it!' She groaned in annoyance

"Mrs. Rathore are you there?" She heard Abhimanyu's high pitched voice which made her jump out from her thoughts

"Ye... Yeah." She replied turning towards him
"What are you doing here?" He asked her and she passed him a sweet smile

"I can ask you the same question." She retorted and he glared at her
"Don't look at me like that I am not scared of your glares." She added rolling her eyes and Abhimanyu raised his eyebrows

"You know, Mrs. Rathore this is the 6th time you are rolling your eyes at me" Abhimanyu said pulling her dangerously close to him and she hissed the very next instant he left her hand

Sanaya rubbed her wrist
"What did you do with yourself now?" He asked her with his arms encircled around her waist

"Nothing just a drop or two of hot coffee fell on my wrist." She replied smiling sheepishly and he sighed burying his face in the crook of her neck

"What am I gonna do with you?" He muttered tightening his hold on her and Sanaya felt hundreds of butterflies erecting in her stomach

Sanaya slowly wrapped her arms around his neck and raked her fingers in his soft and silky hair which made him snuggle more into her warmth

'I don't know why but I can't help thinking that you are making fall for you, Abhimanyu.' A realisation hits her hard and her breath raged at this thought

Sanaya just wanted to get away from him and berate herself for such a thought not did she wanted snatch the comfort he was seeking in her arms

'Am I really falling for my husband?'
'Or it's just that I am thinking too much?'

While, thinking all this she didn't realised that he was asking her something Abhimanyu moved back

"What happened?" He asked her and Sanaya tucked her loose hair strand behind her ear and she really wanted to bang his head on the wall

'Who asked him to be soo caring!?' She groaned in annoyance

"No... Nothing." She replied smiling and Abhimanyu raised his eyebrows
"Sanaya, are you fine?" He asked her and she just chuckled nervously

"No, actually I am sleepy. Good night" Saying this she ran down from terrace leaving him confused

"She was fine two minutes ago." He muttered under his breath

"Okay, no, I can't love him. No! That's not possible! I mean he is my husband but..." Sanaya muttered sitting on the bed

She palmed her forehead and closed her eyes

"That's not a big deal." Said her father
