Chapter 19 — Birthday party

[A/n's pov]

A week passed and it was finally Y/n's birthday. Mark and Haechan were already at her house preparing everything. Ms. Shin had sent the gown awhile ago and Soobin called the girls, Soojin, Yumi and Yerin to take care of Y/n.

Haechan and Mark went to the reception area where the party will be held, while Soobin went to Yeonjun's house. He brought the ring and the suit there since he'll be spending half of the day at his friend's house.

"Are you nervous Bin?" Yeonjun asked him and he looked at the ring on Soobin's hand

"Yeah hyung, but I'll definitely do this. There's no going back" He smiled and Yeonjun patted his back

"Take care of her bro, she's already like a little sister to me. I trust you with her so you better not break my trust" He threatened and Soobin nodded

"I can't believe Soobin is proposing to my lovely cousin. Hyunnie when will you propose to me?" Beomgyu whined and Taehyun chuckled

"Someday Gyu, now stop whining" The three laughed and Beomgyu pouted

"Hyung! When are we gonna go to the reception area? I already miss Yerin" Hyuka barged into the room whining

"Geez Kai, you'll see her later. It would be better if you help Soobin here, he's been saying what ifs and wouldn't calm down" Yeonjun said and exited the room

"Right, hyung what time will we go there?" Taehyun asked

"At 5pm. Y/n and the girls would be there at 6. Tae, I'm so nervous, alot of Y/n's relatives will be there and.. what if I'll mess up?" Taehyun sighed and patted Soobin's back

"Don't worry hyung, everything will be okay"

"Yo wassup! Where's my man?!" Lucas shouted and entered the room with Yeonjun following him

"Oh hey Hyung, I thought you couldn't make it" Soobin said

"Why would I miss my favorite sister's birthday? Of course I'll be here, work's not important" He said and took a cookie in the jar and ate it

"She's not your sister though?" Huening Kai said

"Yeah she's not my biological sister but I treat her like that Hyuka" He said and munched on his cookie

"We better get ready, we have 2 hours so let's get moving" Yeonjun said and they started preparing.

[At Y/n's place]

"Should we do a dark make up or what?" Soojin asked

"Unnie it's better if we use light make up since the gown is peach colored" Yerin said

"Guys, it's best if we do middle make up. What do you think Y/n?" Yumi said and the three looked at Y/n who was busy reading wattpad

"Huh? I mean, whatever you guys want" She said and continued reading

"Yah! What's this fuss all about?" Ryujin suddenly barged in Y/n's room

"Ms. Shin? What are you doing here?" Y/n asked and Ryujin sighed

"I'm here to help of course, I heard these three arguing for the past few hours. Make way, I'll handle this."

Ryujin started putting make up on Y/n's face. She went with a not-so light make up since it fits Y/n's face better.

After 30 minutes, she finished and the girls were satisfied with Ryujin's work

"Wow Ms. Shin, you would fit to be a make up artist" Soojin said and Ryujin smirked
