August

I walked through the crowd talking to niggas and showing love for people coming out. There were a lot of women in here tonight and I was sure that I could take one home, but for some reason tonight I wasn't feeling that shit. I was getting tired of the same thing all the time. A nigga wanted some different. I continued my walk through and I scanned the crowd. My eyes landed on a beauty, but before I could really take a good look at her, my nigga Amp walked up.

"What's poppin?" I asked him as I searched for the beauty my eyes had caught a minute ago.

"Bruh we got a lil situation in the back."

"What's goin' on?"

"Well the shipment of the apple crown and berry ciroc was delayed and the one of the staff is out that helps in the kitchen."

"Dammit! Well let's go put this fire out." I started walking away with Amp and he stopped and was hugging somebody.

When I looked to see it was the girl that I was looking at a moment ago. She was gorgeous and her body was banging. I looked her up and down. My mind went into a carnal place, but I quickly brought it because right now was not the time to be thinking about getting my dick wet. As if she knew I was thinking impure thought she looked right at me.

I smiled and she sorta smiled back. Amp and her said a few more words and then he walked off with me. Don't Kill The Fun started playing as we walked through the crowd to the back.

"Aye who was ole girl?" I asked nonchalantly.

"Oh hell no! She a good girl. A church girl and I got to her church."

"Nigga you go to church?"

"Look man just cause I work here and I do things I shouldn't don't mean I don't go to church. Hell you need to get back in-"

"Amp we not havin' this discussion."

"Fine, but Summer is a good girl and she ain't a one stand. She the kind of woman you take home to momma and you wife up. You and I both know you ain't tryna to do neither one, so don't go there man."

I heard Amp, but it was something about her that intrigued me and made me want her in a way that I had never wanted a woman.

"What's wrong with a church girl Amp?"

"Nothing, but she is the Preacher's daughter and he don't play about his baby girl."

That right there sealed the deal. I wasn't gon' fuck with it. I already knew that her father would be a force to reckon with and I wasn't even going to go there no matter how bad I wanted to, but I was curious to know who her father was.

"Aye who is her father?"

"Jackson Jones."

When I heard that name I knew damn well I wasn't going to even go there with his daughter. I knew who he was because my momma got him to try and council me after my brother got killed, but I didn't wanna hear that.

"Why bruh? Do you know him?"

"Somethin' like dat' but right na' I'm off that. Let's jus' get this shit taken care of."

"Fine by me."

Summer

Even though it was dimly lit inside the club I still could see how fine my mystery man was. His lips and that smile was enough to send me into cardiac arrest. I stared at the spot he was standing and wish he would appear again, but who was I kidding I wouldn't know what to say to a man like that.

"Summer you having a good time?" Lauren asked as she moved her hips to the beat.

"Yeah I actually am."

"Good. Now if you would loosen up a lil more and come out here and dance with me."

"Oh no! Lauren that will not happen. You did good to get me here and drink a drink. There is no way you will get me out here to shake my behind."

"C'mon Summer. Please!" She begged with her lip poked out as she pulled me out on the floor.

As the music blared with Chris Brown's voice I felt myself let go and move my body to the beat. It actually felt good to have fun and be around people in a different type of setting. I felt eyes on me and I turned and it was my mystery man. He leaned up against the bar and watched me. His eyes seemed transfixed to the way my body was moving.

He stared a few moments longer and some girl that I recognized as Callie came up and was all up in my face. She went to my church and song on the choir, but she was hot in the tail. I watched as she rubbed on his chest and he seemed to be into it because he was smiling down at her. In that moment I didn't wanna dance anymore. I tapped Lauren and told her that I was going to the restroom.

I walked through the crowd and made my way to the hall that lead to the bathrooms. I walked inside and I saw a few more girl's from my church. They looked at me with smirks.

"So the preacher's daughter is undercover with what she does, but like your father's says, what goes in the dark must come to the light." Shanel said as her and her click walked out.

I leaned up against the sink with my head bent down. I knew this was a bad idea because I already know when my dad finds out its gon' be nothing but one big mess and lecture. I fluffed my hair out and put some more lip gloss on. I walked in the door and I had made up in my mind I was gon' tell Lauren I was ready to go.

As soon as I hit the corner I ran into somebody. I looked up to see who it was and it was August whom I referred to as my mystery man because at this point that's all he cyou are ould be. "Oh I'm sorry."

"You good." He said as he looked down at me.

"I'm Summer." I stuck my hand out to properly introduce myself.

"Look I know who you are and you are beautiful, but I don't think its wise for us to be communicating. You and your father or well known and I don't need dem' kinda problems." He walked past me and left me in a state of shock.

It never fails. No matter where I go I will always be known as the off limits chick that's the preacher's daughter....

Well that didn't quite got as Summer expected. Lets see how things go from here.
