"This is for you" he said. He looked inside the box and was amazed to see it full of big and small colourful thermocol balls along with some cotton ribbons. There were three boxes inside; two small and one big. He dipped his hand into the pool of fluffy thermocol to take out the bigger one first. As he opened it he found small plant placed in decorative pot having wollen knitted cover with 'Thank you' embroidered on it
"I knitted this cover. It's not that perfect but readable no?" She innocently asked
"Usha Maushi used to knit sweaters for me. I learned it to make wollen cap for Aaba." She explained. It was getting difficult for Virat to control his emotions. He just went numb for few seconds. Drop of tear fell from his left eye, resembling it to be coming directly coming from his heart. He kept looking at her in the silence of nature for long
"Guess it's name?" Sai excitedly asked
"Name? You have named the plant?" Virat smilingly asked
"Yes!!! Of course. It's called Vimboo" she stated
"Vimboo???"
"Yes, Virat plus little bamboo, Vimboo? Isn't is amazing" she laughed
"You are . . .
"Smart na I know" she flaunted and smiled
"You should smile often. You look good while smiling" he mesmerisingly said while simultaneously looked at her and 'Vimboo', trying his best to figure out who was more cute, Mr. Vimboo or the one who named it.
"Aree aap to ek me shock ho gaye baki bhi to dekhiye (you got shocked just by one, open rest of them too)" she said, breaking the lock of his eyes.
"Oh, yes" he softly said with a smile. He grabbed and pulled out small golden coloured box. It looked more of a jewellery box to him. Virat opens and a weird teddy hits him having much more weirder sound, Virat gets shocked while Sai bursts into laughter.
She clapped delightedly at her success. "Yeah!!! You got scared! Look at your face" she said.
"Haa haa has lo has lo!! See I not only bought your things but I arranged them as well. And look at you are teasing me with this weird looking stuff" he faked anger though she looked so cute in doing that to him.
"Weird??? Kaha se? He looks like you. See same to same" she teased while placing that teddy near his face.
"Now you are looking like the real Sai! The one who loves to tease me, right?" He taunted
"I tease you because you get teased" she laughed
"Same as you" he showed his teeth
"Accha look at the third box" she said
"No, I am not doing that. I am sure punching hand will come out from that" he cribbled like a child. It was fascinating to see that side of bold and rowdy IPS of the city.
"Aree nahi that was only one. While I was searching for something to buy for you. I randomly saw that and I just thought to have some fun with you. I didn't knew you will get that scared" she mocked
"Scared?? Kuch bhi!! I just got surprised not sacred okay" he defended
"Aww kya Virat Sir! At least shocked to boliye" she riled. Virat acted angry in response and kept looking ahead at the water of lake dazzling under the sun.
"Accha theek hai, I will open it for you" she assured. As she was unwrapping the box he kept looking at the box from the corner of his eyes.
