"Virat Sir!" Sai stopped
"Free yourself from all your guilt. You were never at fault" she politely said
Those simple words were enough to lessen the burden of guilt he was carrying on his shoulders since the day Kamal sir died.
"May be I could never understand things from your side but I can understand what you might have gone through. I don't know about the loss but we both share the same traumatic memories. So please don't blame yourself for my Aaba's death" she completed in a heavy voice
"Do you miss him a lot?"
"What option do I have other than missing him" she replied with a smile
"Sai. . . . I know you can't consider me a friend but you can come to me anytime for anything wherever you feel like. Don't forget you aren't alone here" he calmly said
Though she didn't accepted but he was happy that atleast she didn't denied this time. Her silence was way better than her denial for him.
"Thank you for helping me out" He said
"Take care" she softly said.
He reached back to his home and asked Mohit to open back gate for him as he didn't want his family to unnecessarily worry. More precisely he didn't want to stand in the dock of courtroom of Chavans.
"Mohit!!" Samrat called him while he was hidingly running to the backgate
In the nervousness he blurt out the whole incident.
"Go and open the gate first" Samrat instructed
"How much time!!" Virat said as Mohit opened gate for him.
Virat's injured face was enlightened with happiness. It was enough for him to guess the reason for this newly found happiness on his brother's face.
"Are you fine?" He asked
"Yeah I am absolutely fine" Virat replied
"But you bandages are telling the whole different story" Samrat entered the room
"Jeeva!!!!! When did you came back?" Virat went to him with his staggering steps
"Yesterday! What's going on with you? Kaku said you live away from everyone these days" He asked
"Nothing! I was busy in work." He excused
"How did you get these injuries"
"I got a little injured while helping someone. I am fine. Don't worry" Virat assured. He didn't intended to hide anything from his brother but he didn't knew what he should share. He was lacking the proper words.
