The five continue their journey through the cave. Shen Qingqiu is surprised they haven't escaped by now. This seems to stretch on forever, it's kind of exhausting.

It's been at least twelve hours since they met Wen Kexing and Shen Qiao. In those twelve hours Wen Kexing and Wei Wuxian almost died over ten times. And they're also super annoying.

Shen Qiao is a calm person that Shen Qingqiu enjoys talking to. He might replace airplane bro. Xie Lian also gets along with Shen Qiao. Shen Qiao is also a good voice of reason even though the only two who need it don't listen.

And even though he would never say it out loud, he misses Binghe. It's been a few hours, maybe even a day. When with Wei Wuxian time seems to get lost. He hopes Binghe will save him from Wei Wuxian.

Xie Lian also misses his San Lang. He can't remember a time since that one year where the two were separated for so long without communication. He can't even use his communication array.

Wei Wuxian misses his Lan Zhan as well. It's been too long since he last saw him. After all... everyday means everyday!!

Wen Kexing misses A-Xu. He doesn't even know if Zhou Zishu is also in this strange universe or if he's in a completely different one. He needs to figure out how to get back so he can find his beloved.

Shen Qiao is worried about Yan Wushi. Maybe Yan Wushi is also in this strange universe. Or maybe he is back in their universe. Hopefully he is doing okay without him.

The five are snapped out of their sad thoughts when they come across a big door. It's taller than the five of them combined and then doubled!

"It's a door," Shen Qingqiu observes.

"Yes Shen-Xiong, we can all see that." Wei Wuxian remarks. Shen Qingqiu rolls his eyes. Wei Wuxian is lucky he hasn't (successfully) murdered Wei Wuxian. He can't promise there were not any attempts.

When the protagonist has no self preservation it's kind of difficult to protect him.

"I think this is the end of the cave." Xie Lian points out. Wen Kexing nods.

"Looks like it, it only took half a day to get here." Wen Kexing says.

"Where is 'here' exactly?" Shen Qiao questions, turning to Shen Qingqiu.

Shen Qingqiu isn't all knowledgeable, so he doesn't know.

"I'm afraid I can't answer that question for you Xiao-Qiao," Shen Qingqiu says.

"The thing is this is apart of his peak too!" Wei Wuxian chimes in.

"Really? And you don't even know this place?" Wen Kexing chuckles.

This place wasn't even in the original PIDW! Shen Qingqiu barely knows anything he didn't experience personally. For all Shen Qingqiu knows, this is something from one of the other worlds!

"Obviously not," Shen Qingqiu murmured, glaring at Wei Wuxian.

"Hey, it's not Shen-Xiongs fault! We got dragged here by vines." Xie Lian pointed out.

"You're right. Xie-Xiong is so smart!" Wei Wuxian smiles, wrapping an arm around Xie Lian's shoulders.

"I was just saying what actually happened, it's not about how smart I am." Xie Lian mumbled. Wei Wuxian either didn't hear him or ignored him.

"So, who is going to open the door?" Wen Kexing questioned.

"Should we open the door? It could lead to something very dangerous." Xie Lian says.

"Xie-Xiong... we have a peak lord, ghost chief, god, Demonic cultivator, and... what are you Xiao-Qiao?" Wei Wuxian points out, then turns to Shen Qiao.
