The Runaway

*a couple days ago*

*Third Person POV*

Its been a week or so since Jennie and Chaeyoung left the south, Jennie tried to find someone to teach her water bending, but the men refused to teach women.

So Jennie stole some water bending scrolls.
Now whenever the make a stop Jennie practices
And as days go by she gets better.

The girls helped whoever they could, whenever the can, whatever stop they make.

Now, the girls are staying in a town, in an inn, Joowhanie, slept in front of the inn because he was too big to sleep inside.

The girls were so tired, as soon as their bodies hit the softness of a bed they were goners.

*next day*

The girls woke up and went out to search for breakfast, they bought fruits and bread.
That should be enough for now.
The left Joowhanie back at the inn
He was still sleeping.

"General Jin said he will organize a small ambush tomorrow, the villagers are so stubborn, hahah, he will burn them to the ground, he doesn't offer a second time around", Chaeyoung heard two fire nation guards,

They were a couple of them walking around, not really alarming

She will bring this up with Jennie later.

They girls continued to visit the stalls at the market.

After walking around for a while
They were about to go back to the inn until a someone cried for help.

They ran over to the vender
"Please!!! Help, He stole all my money!!, its all I have right now!!"

It was already dark,
But they girls could make out a shadow running away from them.

They quickly dashed behind the shadow
And caught up.
Jennie swiped her hands and bend water out for a bucket to his feet and she froze it.
This caused him to stop and fall.

Chaeyoung bended the air to sweep his body up and let him fall back to the ground.

Jennie walked over to him and grabbed the bag with money
She looked at Chaeyoung,
"This was an easy one right?", she laughed and nodded

The guy cried out

"Nooii that was supposed to be used on the fight tonight!, I was gonna be rich", he exclaimed while looking at the bag

"What fight?" Chaeyoung asked,

"The finals tonight, Jikwan is being challenged by this big guy for his title, don't you know this!?", he asked

"Well we're travelers, just passing through, but where is this so called fight?", Jennie asked, not knowing someone was looking at them.

*two hours later*

The girls were sitting in the underground arena, looking at benders fighting each other.

Everyone around them were cheering.

They somewhat enjoyed it.

Then it came down to the main event

Jikwan came out and faced his opponent and with one move he won.
