Shame

A heavy word, screamed straight in your face,
Got hundreds of laughs, right there in this place.

Through the wings of the air it flew to those,
Who spread the rumor, they had you to oppose.

'All against one' was their resolution,
They claimed to start a new revolution.

Instead they followed the example,
You were made of glass, they were made to trample.

The swears, the whispers, the nasty remarks,
Fueled the flooding of your last, weakest sparks.

You didn't think about it twice,
Believed you had to pay the price.

In the end you made the sacrifice,
Floated on heavenly wings to paradise.
