Season 1

It was moving day for the Godfrey family. They wouldn't have to move, if they weren't chased out their home by breathers with torches and pitch forks. As of right now, the family were driving to Stokely, Wales where their new home is.

Lucinda was sad to leave her home, but when her parents told her where they were moving to, her sadness soon changed to excitement.

"Are you excited to see Vlad, Lu?" her mother asked her daughter, who was sitting  in the backseat.

"Of course. It's been two years since i last saw him" the girl asked, smiling at the thought of her best friend who she's been friends with since they were babies.

Before anyone else could say anything, the view of their new home came into sight. Lucinda smiled excitedly, when she saw her best friend waiting at the front of the castle. Once the car stopped, the young girl quickly jumped out the car and ran towards Vlad, who mirrored her excited grin.

"Luci! It's been a hundred years since i last saw you" Vlad stated dramatically, as the two hugged each other tightly.

"I know, it's been so long" Lucinda responded just as dramatic, making the two giggle. Vlad and Lucinda pulled away, but the smiles didn't leave their faces. The youngest Dracula quickly helped his best friend with her bags, and lead her inside the castle.

Once the family were inside, they were met with the Count Dracula, Ingrid and Renfield.

"Ahh, the Godfrey family. It's lovely to see you again. I heard about what happened, must've been terrifying" the Count said, then turned to Lucinda.

"Look how much you've grown, Lucinda" the man smiled, as he pulled the girl into a hug.

"It's good to see you Mr Count" the girl smiled politely, as the two pulled away. While the adults spoke, Vlad gained Lucinda's attention.

"Hey, i uh- i hope you don't mind sharing a room with me" Vlad said shyly, making Lucinda giggle.

"Yeah that's fine" she responded as the two walked to his room. Lucinda didn't mind sharing with Vlad, when the two were growing up together they would always share a room. So it wasn't weird for them to be in the same room.

When they got into his room, Lucinda looked to see Vlad's room with clothes everywhere. She looked and saw what was her bed, next to Vlad's.

"I see you're still as messy as ever, Vladdy" Lucinda giggled, causing the boy to lightly nudge the girl.

Once Lucinda had put her stuff away, her and Vlad rested on her bed talking and catching up.

"Hey, i hope you don't mind but i kind of enlisted you into school" Vlad said, making Lucinda groan.

"Vladdy, noooo. Vampires don't go to school" she whined.

"Come on, Luci. Please, i don't want to go alone" The boy pleaded, looking at Lucinda with puppy eyes.

"Fine, but you owe me Vladimir" she fake glared, but her lips twitched upwards. Vlad's grin widened as he gave her a quick hug. The boy jumped off the bed, and grabbed something from the wardrobe and threw it at the girl. Lucinda frowned when she saw it was her uniform.

"Oh, and our first day is today so get ready" he said, then quickly left the room. Lucinda sighed and hesitantly got ready. Looking in the mirror, Lucinda almost gagged at the blue and yellow colours. Thinking quickly, the girl grabbed a pair of spiderweb tights and put them on.

Once she was finished getting ready, the girl grabbed her black leather bag and made her way downstairs. When she got downstairs, the girl saw Vlad standing in front of group of......brightly clothed people. Walking towards Vlad, everyone turned to her.

"Luci, i'd like you to meet the Branagh family. This is Lucinda, my best friend" Vlad introduced, causing Lucinda to give them a tight-lipped smile.

"Hello. It's a pleasure to meet you Lucinda. My name is Elizabeth, this is my husband Graham. These are my oldest children, Ian and Paul. And these are my two youngest, Robin and Chloe" The woman smiled brightly, almost making Lucinda cringe at the chirpy woman.

"Going somewhere, Vlad, Lucinda?" came a voice, that belonged to Ingrid. Lucinda looked, and saw the twins staring at the older girl dreamily.

"Ah, so you must be the famous Ingrid. You've certainly made some fans in our house" Elizabeth smiled, causing the twins to groan. Vlad and Lucinda looked at each other, both trying not to laugh.

"So have you got a plan B genius, because your dad will most likely kill them if he sees them" Lucinda whispered to the boy, who gulped nervously.

"Now come on, you've gotta get ready for school" Elizabeth said, looking at Ingrid.

"You seriously think i'm going to school" Ingrid sneered at the woman, making Vlad quickly speak up.

"You don't have to go. But i want to. So don't tell dad, okay" Ingrid smiled at him, which Lucinda knew was fake.

"DAD!" the girl yelled, causing Vlad and Lucinda to flinch at the volume. They all heard the Count yell, and the a whooshing sound was heard. The two looked behind them, and saw the Count and Lucinda's parents.

"What peasant dares knock at my palace of doom?" the Count spat, pointing at the group of breathers.

"Hello, you three must be...." Elizabeth started saying, as she stuck her hand out.

"Count, and the Godfrey's" The Count replied, looking at the woman in disgust.

"Mr Count, Mr and Mrs Godfrey. My name is Elizabeth Branagh, i'm your neighbour. Welcome to our country, it's wonderful to meet you all" She smiled, but the smile was replaced with a look of disgust when she saw Renfield.

"Oh my goodness, what is that smell?" she exclaimed, making Vlad and Lucinda giggle quietly.

"I think it's coming from there, It seems like you have a plumbing problem. Not to worry, my Graham can fix that for you. Now, let's get to school everyone" Elizabeth smiled brightly, as she started to lead the group towards the front door.

"School? What school?" Lucinda's father asked, looking at his daughter curiously.

"Stokely Grammar" Elizabeth answered.

"Our children do not go to school" Mr Count said, glaring at the woman.

"Oh please let us go, dad. How else am i meant to make more friends?" Vlad pleaded with his dad.

"Our kind don't need friends" Mrs Branagh looked at the man in shock, but shook her head and looked to her family.

"Right, well come along you lot. Let's go" she ordered, leading the group out of the castle. Vlad sighed loudly, and turned to his dad.

"Well thanks. Thanks a lot" Vlad huffed, then marched to his room with Lucinda close behind him.
