LYNX

"What happened to him?" kunot noong tanong ko at ibinalik ang tingin kay Cephus. Hades looks beaten up to pulp. Para siyang walang kalaban laban.

Doctor Ayer laughed. "He's a pain in the ass."

Cephus—or I should call him Dr. Ayer motioned me to sit but I didn't. "I send him here for him to be better, now, what happened?!" I raised my voice out of frustration. A strange worry start to took over.

Bumalik ang tingin ko kay Hades. Not that I'm concerned, but hell! I don't know how to explain this, but I feel angry looking at him.

"Calm down, Lynx." Said Dr. Ayer, while pressing the ice pack on his chin. "Baka nakakalimutan mo ang kaya niyang gawin."

"The hell I care about that!" I hissed. "He's a patient, now you're treating him as if he's a criminal because of what he can do?!"

"He's not a patient." Sagot saakin. Dr. Ayer pulled out something from one of the drawers of his table. He tossed it on his table, towards me. "All the results came out negative. Inulit namin ng ilang beses kahit maging lumpo na lahat ng nurse at ibang staffs dito."

"W-what?!" Napahinto ako saglit.

"Kita mo 'to?" He asked pointing his cheeks. I saw a small cut in it. "It's because of that mother fucking Hades."

And so?

Hindi ako sumagot. I can still feel my blood boiling through my veins.

"But you know what?" Napailing siya. "What calmed him down is when I told him that if he'll be negative with the tests, makakabalik siya kay Athena...and I explained shits on him then poof!" He made a bomb-like on his hand. "He's calm! Hallelujah! Tangina!"

"That is because he's insane!" I scoffed. "Iyon lang naman ang nakatatak sa utak niya. He made it up in his mind. Damn!"

"Here's the result." Inabot niya saakin ang folder. "See for yourself."

Kinuha ko naman ang folder at binuksan. That couldn't be possible. Every word coming out from his mouth is something strange. It's not even normal. Myths, powers, and assuming things—being new to the surroundings, it's not normal for a sane person!

Binasa ko ang test results. I know how to analyze this kind of stuff since it's part of our training, and Aries taught me too. Everything—every detail indicates normal and negative results. Nothing's wrong with Hades.

"That's impossible, Dr. Ayer." I said firmly.

He just smiled at me. "I'm a bit curious too, Lynx. He's acting strange, but give it some thought."

I crossed my arms, and stand still. Mainit pa rin ang ulo ko, and sitting down won't help me to calm down.

"Let's just say he was raised to believe in those things. Myths, Mt. Olympus, and some other odd th—"

"Powers."

Tumango ito. "Iyon lang ang laman ng isip niya sa tanang buhay niya, but he's not insane. Just consider that he's a kid, and need to discover things kaya lahat ng nakikita niya ay bago, at pilit niyang ikinukumpara sa nakasanayan."

Naningkit ang mata ko. "No. An adult with a kid mind is not even considered as normal."

"So, you're saying that your boss Lance is not normal?"
