I Need to Take a Break On This Story

[Okay, so don't be too mad. Not mad? Okay, good. Let me explain, even though you might be freaking out at the title. I have a good reason, you see right now i don't have the same DRIVE to write. Don't get me wrong, i love this series, but if i continue writing this series while i'm in a drout of ideas. I feel like i'll just update for the sake of updating

I wanna contiue this story when i get my DRIVE back, it won't take long, at least i hope. Only two weeks, until then i'll focus on Crowned Mercenary, but during my free time, i'll do my best to think up ideas on Undying Ace. So when i start writing, i know what i want

And just so you know. I know where this story is gonna go. I just need time to understand how to get there, i know how Season 1 will end and i know how the story will end. For the most part at least, but right now. I need to map out the journey before i can get the treasure

At least i hope you do. I hope that you won't hate me for this, because i like my readers. But i don't want to end up like many writers i've looked up to in the past. Where they upload great stories but then they lose motivation but still write. Then eventually hating their series and just stopping altogether. I don't want that to happen to me

I want to come back to this series and be happy to write it

But for now since we passed 30k, let me leave you some Fun Facts, not many but still there

Fun Fact #1: Alexandria was supposed to be introduced at the start of the series but i decided against it. Thinking that later down the line would be better for the writing. I'm happy i went wth this choice

Fun Fact #2: I was actually going to make Y/N shorter than the girls, since i have a thing for taller women, but i went with him being taller. But i did do that with Crowned Mercenary

Fun Fact #3: I had a lot of fun writing this Russia Arc, if you can even call it that. There wasn't any stakes really. But know i feel i've gotten better with writing so i think a few Minor Villains would be good for future Arcs

Fun Fact #4: This one isn't that important, but the cover for this Series. Isn't perfectly centered. The nose of Nos is slightly off of center. That forever pisses me off

Fun Fact #5: Speaking of Nos, he hasn't appeared once during this Arc, i know i said this was a more Slice of Life Arc, but still. Damn past me

Fun Fact #6: This is the last fun fact but i think you'll find it interesting..

This is a Malereader series. I mean of course it is, but what i mean is that Y/N is the default name so you can put whatever name you want on it. But despite this being a Malereader series, i don't picture this as a self insert series at all. What i mean is that i didn't write this series because i wanted to plaster myself onto the character and just pretend that they're saying "Douglas" Instead of "Y/N". I just feel wrong doing that, i wouldn't react how Y/N would act, i don't talk like him, and a sure as hell don't look like him. I made him as his own character, now as for why i didn't give him a name if he's his own character? Because well for one, i feel like others DO like inserting themselves into stories and that's all cool. And second is that i feel like i have more freedom with the name Y/N, it's hard to explain, but when i try and write when the main character has a name. I just don't like it, i feel tied down for some reason

Now even though i call Y/N "Y/N" I do have a name that i call him, no it's not Ilya, even though that's his AC6 counterpart's name. No the default name for me in my head is Zephyr, that's the original name of a Pilot OC i made a few years back, so it just kinda stuck. And when i say Default, i mean it. Monarch's name in Crowned Mercenary is "Y/N Sparda" on paper, but in my head it's "Zephyr Sparda" same for here, it's "Zephyr Pasternak"

Also for the Looks of each of the characters. I do also have looks for them, i already described them of course, but i do have different ways for their hair and eyes

You see, like i said, i don't like to plaster myself on my characters and instead give them unique designs

Pasternak for example, of course he has those scars and on paper for all of you, he has "E/C eyes and H/C hair" But in my head, he has Chestnut hair and Red eyes, that's how i imagine him every time i think of him. Of course yours are different

And for Monarch it's the same shit different story. For him i decided that i want a bit more pizazz with him in my head, he has Silver hair and Deep Blue eyes. Yeah i know, odd color choice but that's what i went with

It sounds weird for me to tell you this out of nowhere but i just thought you wanted to know how i think when writing

Also i decided. I don't wanna do a QnA where you ask me questions

I wanna ask you questions. Feel free not to answer, your choice. But it would be appreciated for you to answer since i want some feedback

First Question: Who is your favorite in the Harem?

Third Question: Do you like the story so far? If not, then what would be a good change?

Fourth Question: Would you like Y/N to be more charismatic than he already is, or make him show his cold side a bit more
