My lungs burned, my visions blurred, my legs slowing down from exhaustion. I was being dragged further and further down, my struggling legs eventually getting tangled in my leg rope. This is it. I thought desperately. I'm going to become shark bait and die a horrid death in a great white shark's stomach. I'm never going to get my first kiss, I'm never going to be able to see my grandchildren grow up, and I'm never going to be able to live in one of those white picket fenced houses with my husband. Chanel has never had good experience with men. She believes they are all selfish diçkheads. Whether this has to do with her father being a prime example, or the fact that she just can't act like a normal person around them. She already has her future mapped out nice and neatly. Getting drunk with self at 18, go to a party and hate it at 20, maybe have a one night stand, go to university and get a useless degree at 22, and adopt three, fluffy golden retrievers by the age of 31.

This all quickly changes when she goes onto the one trip she's been looking forward to all her life. What was supposed to be a fun, lazy summer holiday, wasted by spending time on the speeding roller coasters, and the cosy lounges by the pool, changes into a date with her worst nightmare. Waves

Just when things can't get any worse– in Chanel's perceptive, a handsome, cocky man comes barging forcibly into her life. Despite feeling oddly charmed by his arrogant smile, she'd rather throw herself under a barrel wave– literally, than to ever admit to herself that she finds him attractive.

Unbeknown to one another, they all have secrets that makes them incomplete. Sometimes, all it takes is one dash of paradise magic to mend a broken soul. But is it possible fix something beyond repair?

'To walk a dark forest, one needs a dark fairytale.'
