However, this growth wasn't in his team's favor despite being impressive.

"She's grown in her skills since the last time I saw her play. They're planning to shut down Midorima with that? Well, what to do?" Naoki heard his coach say.

Truthfully, the pink haired boy was caught off guard when he watched the miracle duo perform their move. But, as he let out a small smile behind his notebook, plans beginning to run through his head as to how to put a halt on Seirin's plan of attack.

"Did they really stop him?" Kise asked as he stood up from his seat slightly, putting his hands on the railing as to get a closer look at what was happening down on the court.

"I don't think so," Hibiki answered as he leaned forward with his elbows on his knees.

Well if they hadn't stopped Midorima, then what was Seirin trying to do?

"What's your take on all of this?" The blonde copycat asked his upperclassman.

Kasamatsu had a pretty good idea as to what the red and black team was doing. And what Midorima was planning as well.

"That kid's glorified passing pulled the brakes on the Midorima train. His team returns to defense during the long hang time shots, which is good against run and gun plays. However, not everyone goes back. They leave someone on rebound duty, just in case he misses. But that same hang time hurts him. If Midorima can run back, then Kagami can too. Or even (Y/N)," the captain explained.

Not only that, but there was another factor to that whole play. It was honestly kind of scary to see her being that accurate and confident in her skill to make a misdirected pass like that at the speed that Kuroko was throwing the ball at.

"With (Y/N) being off to the side like that to misdirect the ball, not to mention the speed she's doing it at when Kuroko passes it, that makes it perfect for a dash and pass. And that's why Midorima can't shoot."

The captain was seeing a whole different side of Seirin than what he had seen when it came to their practice match. Still, as the captain's gaze went to the sole female player, Kasamatsu had a feeling something big would happen that would catch everyone off guard. But the captain couldn't help but to feel excited for when that time would come.

"I gotta say, I'm surprised by the timing he's chose to show us this pass. He had to be pretty confident he'd make it to (Y/N) for her to change the trajectory of the ball. That's actually quite impressive," the black haired third year smiled slightly.

That was a shock to both the Kaijo first years. To have their captain actually confess that he was actually impressed with another person's play style. Hibiki couldn't help but to take advantage of the situation as he formed a sly and mischievous smirk on his face as he began nudging the third year with his elbow.

"Wow, the Kasamatsu who's usually so serious is actually impressed with Tetsu's passing? I didn't think such a day would come," the (h/c) haired boy teased.

Kise saw the third year's forehead beginning to become littered with tick marks as the younger twin kept poking the bear with his little teasings. The blonde then saw Kasamatsu raised his fist before bringing it down hard on the Bashira boy's head, knocking him out as Hibiki let out a groan with steam coming from a newly formed red bump on his head.

"And you wonder why I like your sister way more than you."

"Ahahaha...."

Kise just decided to keep quiet as he laughed nervously, hoping the captain wouldn't turn that anger towards him. The blonde had avoided most of that wrath for most of the day, which was a record. But then, he saw Kasamatsu turn his attention back to the court, a small part of his lips tipping upwards.
