Chapter-010- The truth

Start from the beginning

Primary Classes

These are the most common Object Classes used in SCP articles and make up the bulk of the objects.

Safe

Safe-class SCPs are anomalies that are easily and safely contained. This is often due to the fact that the Foundation has researched the SCP well enough that containment does not require significant resources or that the anomalies require a specific and conscious activation or trigger. Classifying an SCP as Safe, however, does not mean that handling or activating it does not pose a threat.

Euclid

Euclid-class SCPs are anomalies that require more resources to contain completely or where containment isn't always reliable. Usually this is because the SCP is insufficiently understood or inherently unpredictable. Euclid is the Object Class with the greatest scope, and it's usually a safe bet that an SCP will be this class if it doesn't easily fall into any of the other standard Object Classes.

As a note, any SCP that's, and/or is generally classified as Euclid, due to the inherent unpredictability of an object that can act or think on its own.

Keter

Keter-class SCPs are anomalies that are exceedingly difficult to contain consistently or reliably, with containment procedures often being extensive and complex. The Foundation often can't contain these SCPs well due to not having a solid understanding of the anomaly or lacking the technology to properly contain or counter it. A Keter SCP does not mean the SCP is dangerous, just that it is simply very difficult or costly to contain.

Thaumiel

Thaumiel-class SCPs are anomalies that the Foundation specifically uses to contain other SCPs. Even the mere existence of Thaumiel-class objects is classified at the highest levels of the Foundation and their locations, functions, and current status are known to few Foundation personnel outside of the O5 Council.

Neutralized

Neutralized SCPs are anomalies that are no longer anomalous, either through having been intentionally or accidentally destroyed, or disabled.

Apollyon

Apollyon-class SCPs are anomalies that cannot be contained, are expected to breach containment imminently, or some other similar scenario. Such anomalies are usually associated with world-ending threats or a K-Class Scenario of some kind and require a massive effort from the Foundation to deal with.

Archon

Archon-class SCPs are anomalies that could theoretically be contained but are best left uncontained for some reason. Archon SCPs may be a part of consensus reality that is difficult to fully contain or may have adverse effects if put into containment. These SCPs are not uncontainable—the defining feature of the class is that the Foundation chooses to not put the anomaly into containment.

Non-Standard Object Classes

The following Object Classes are sub-classes that supplement the object's primary (or former) classification.

Explained

SCPs are commonly articles about anomalies that are completely and fully understood to the point where their effects are now explainable by mainstream science or phenomena that have been debunked or falsely mistaken as an anomaly.

Esoteric/Narrative Classes

Esoteric Object Classes, also occasionally referred to as Narrative classes, are Object classes that do not fall into any of the above sections. They are generally only used once and are created to further the narrative in a particular SCP. It is highly recommended that SCPs use one of the standard Object Classes listed here. While some authors choose to introduce exceptions to these rules, they are only very rarely done and need to justify their existence and placement. Many site members will downvote for non-standard Object Classes if used without merit.

Decommissioned

Decommissioned SCPs are an Object Class that was used by senior staff in the past to not only delete unwanted articles but place them in a sort of "Wall of Shame" to serve as examples of what not to do. This Object Class is not used anymore.

============================================================

"I could possibly become a Thaumiel Class SCP. That way I can get on their good side, and it might be the best option. Good thing I helped those MTF members earlier; that should help appeal to the 05 council for my classification. It's not like they can actually contain me very well that I know of and it's most likely better this way." I started after giving my situation some thought and tried planning the next course of action before the Foundation burst through the door.

"Can we not get the police or FBI into this? Surely this Foundation is an illegal organization." Anya asked me. "NO, let me explain it blunter. Outside some special groups they are the greatest, strongest and most influential organization within this world. There is no government or agency that can stand against them and nor will they want to since every government within this world supports and funds large amounts of money to the point that the Foundation basically has almost endless money." I explained to Blake more bluntly so she can grasp the situation we are in.

"Ok, Nina, we trust you know what you are doing and could handle this. Just don't do anything dangerous." said Anya with Papa and Blake nodding in agreement to her statement. "It's ok, this shouldn't be dangerous." I lied. I don't want them to freak out about the risk of the SCPs and the dangerous jobs they most likely will put me in.

I will tell them but that should wait until they get used to everything first. I am sure the foundation would like the three of them to join as well. Papa was already scouted by them from the appearance of Dr. Cool while Blake and Anya would make good researchers and they could be my requirement for work. Of course, I will ask for them to visit me and such.

"Ok, let's discuss what I want to do. I will turn myself in at our home that they most likely is monitoring and use my knowledge to get the approval to be a Thaumiel. I will request for Papa, Blake and Anya to join to avoid anesthetic or being killed. Papa was already scouted by Dr. Cool. Blake, you and Anya should have the qualification to be a researcher even without you both not graduating yet."

"Ok we understand, should we teleport like you did earlier?" Blake asked. "No, actually it's been cooling down for a while after using it so much so we will have to get there the normal way somehow." I explained to them as I looked at the cool down icon that showed I can't use it for the next two hours. "Actually, I left my ATV here before we left. It has a trolley at the back so we all can get to your place within an hour or two since it doesn't go too fast." said Blake.

It looks like Blake's random acts of leaving things at places actually help us out. Well, if it's still here and not stolen yet of course. We left the abandoned classroom and made our way to the ATV. It was a black ATV with scale pattern designs on it with a trolley attached to it at the back where Papa and Anya sat holding on. I ride the back of the ATV holding on to Blake's waist.

We drove towards our home with a pit stop halfway to refuel the ATV before we made it. We arrive at the house with nothing suspicious that seems to have happened with it looking the same with no one in sight. Yeah, they're definitely here due to the fact of it being too quiet since some of the neighbors are usually very noisy around this time despite the large distance, they are from our house which in all honesty isn't very far at all. We entered with me going first as we opened the door, I could see Dr. Cool sitting on a chair at the table staring at me with a slight smirk on his face. "Now let's get down to business." said Dr. Cool.
