MAMA Stage: Part 2

Serim gave her a thumbs up as she walked by and Evie couldn't help but smile back. As much as she didn't want to cause trouble again, a part of her still felt nervous around him.

Evie sipped her water, watching the dance unit go through their moves. Everyone was really good but there was just something about Serim that captured her. He was so effortless and cool on while performing, that she made some mental notes on how to improve herself.

"Okay everyone, gather around before we begin." The choreographer said, waving them over. Evie capped her bottle, running towards the centre of the studio where the others had gathered.

"So this final dance is a change from the others." The choreographer explained. "You're all desperate, fighting to sit on the throne. Let's go over it once and walk through the positions then we can take out the cloaks."

The leaders nodded, doing one last stretch before moving to their starting positions. The choreographer counted as they marked the movements, slowly moving to their positions.

"Okay good, Evie move forward and everyone come together to form a pyramid." The choreographer instructed. "Hm... Okay wait let's think a bit. Mark, this is your centre part, right? Let's have Mark at the point then and Hyera and Minji behind him. Third row we'll have Evie centre with Jungwon and Serim on either side then last row we'll have Julianne and Chaeri in the middle and Sangyeon and Bang Chan in the corners."

The choreographer stepped back, turning around to face the mirror. She couldn't help but laugh as she saw how tall Sangyeon was, Bang Chan going on his tiptoes to make up for it.

"Maybe I should wear heels." Bang Chan suggested, making the group laugh.

"It'll do, don't worry. With the cloaks, you'll barely be able to tell who is who." The choreographer reassured them, nodding her head. "Okay, let's move on then and put on the cloaks."

The rehearsal went by quickly, being one that Evie quite enjoyed. The concept was really cool, a performance that Evie definitely wanted to do one day.

After the dance unit performance, the camera would change to a different stage, where Sangyeon would be. With all of them wearing the cloaks, you couldn't see who was who until it was revealed. Sangyeon had a pocket watch, swinging it as the beginning of the song had the sound of ticking. For the beginning of the song, Julianne and Chaeri had a small dance part, where they imitated fighting until the ticking stopped. Then the three would take their hoods off, revealing their identities.

Then the camera would change to the other stage, where Mark and Bang Chan had their own intense dance break. Between, Evie came in to break them apart, performing a few contemporary moves before pulling both their hoods off while they did the same to her. Then the three of them had a combination before the dance and vocal units would join them.

Each of the members of the dance unit led them through a sequence, rotating the centre position. Once they were done their part, they would take their hood off before the next person led. The last dance break was led by Mark, where they stood in a pyramid formation. Then they would start a battle between them, where Bang Chan would avoid them all, running towards the throne. This was to represent the fact that Stray Kids had won Kingdom, the last show.

Right before he could reach it though, a hooded figure would stop him, holding his collar. Minji was assigned this part. She would take off her hood, revealing that it was her before the camera panned to the others who would stand at the base of the stairs in a semicircle, wearing their hoods. As the music faded, the rest of them would take their hoods off, completing the performance.
